I think it is proven that some people don't know before ranting and going off on one and making statements.

Whoops indeed

Rather depressingly we also paid fees for Chris Dunn and Clive Platt - possibly O'Halloran as well? Though he might have been more than 7 years ago.

O'Halloran was a Boothroyd signing so 4 or 5 years ago. I thought he may have been a free transfer though no?

Could have been. I was looking at the transfer league website and it suggested he was signed for a fee but his wiki page suggests it was a free transfer. :thinking about:

Found his level now with Salford City.

After TM's comments in the week should we expect a double signing today.

Would be a huge boost for the team and fans a week before the season

Did tm come out and say we were signing two players today did he ? Must of missed it

The next goalpost moving tactic will involve the word 'undisclosed' so I'm getting in there first.

And something about selling them.

I'm sure Mr Estimated Fact will be waking up in his Hostel soon to put us right.

Think you ought to read Jans update from the SCG, SISU are not putting in anymore money the more than NOPM the lower our budget the shitter we'll become, so then all we can blame for failure will be our stay away fans. Thanks

Ha do you refuse to go but moan about signings and big name players, ironic really.

It's gone from not signing players at all to ones you don't approve of. Bit of a big jump there.

Then people wonder why people have digs at other city fans

It is your choice. But don't moan about the lack of signings when you have contributed nothing to the coffers.

There's more chance of us signing players to get back to the PL if and when we get to the championship. Think we've made some pretty decent signings to try and get up this season or next.

If I were you blueflint I'd abandon your current account and come back under another name as you've embarrassed yourself beyond redemption here.

I cannot place any blame on fans who stay away. It is their choice when the owners refuse to invest any money why should fans? Before shooting me down, I have a season ticket and have persuaded 2 others to buy one too, but it's an act of blind faith and loyalty. Our owners don't deserve the fans we have.

I don't blame the fans, and to have a ST, but under the new financial model it's down to the fans to fund the club by going to games. I am not sticking up for SISU here, but they have invested every seasons, but those £6-7m investments have been finding losses and keeping us ticking over. They have now said enough is enough, we're not throwing anymore money that they'll never get back at the club. So now the club is pretty much on its own, so let's forget the "owners don't deserve the fans", it's what our club deserves now that matters. And I'd urge anyone to read Jan's update from the SCG.

Nor will fans
We have done but never seen anything on the pitch to entice them back. Ambition starts from the product owner, not the buyers. At the moment the club is a car without its engine and wheels. I'm a fan who'll be there every week regardless of how the clubs being managed, I used to go with 12 lads, 1 remains and hes only interested in away games.

@ Grenduffy......Love to know what meds you're on? Could it be the.... Ichatshitonthisforum one?..... Just for the record, I have a beautiful house on the outskirts of Caerphilly so don't need a hostel. Oh and finally. I've just got back from a short holiday break with my family, and in particular with my son and his son before he has to go abroad for 6 months(Go figure) So I'm not in a very good mood. Letting you know this pal coz I've had enough of the personal attacks. Banter I'll cope with, but your shit I deffo won't. In future if you've got the bollocks to say anything to me, do it in the PM. I'm sure we can come to some sort of arrangement!.....

its pretty black and white for me, fans go and support the team club has money to spend on players plus susi under rules cant throw money at the team or have it, if fans do go susi take their money but dont invest it, fans dont go they dont have money and wont invest anyways so really were fooked either way.
