Well I wouldn't refer to a 15% minority shareholder as a partner. A partner has a significant input on the direction of the business, I was hoping SISU were gone just remaining in the background, hoping the club get purchased.

They are a partner, but no power, if that becomes an obvious issue fans will turn very quickly and that could be Doug Kings Achilles heel fan patience will be very thin and very short.
He’s no mug he will know that.

If he was not trying to be provocative it's perfectly reasonable and appropriate to call a 15% partner in a business what they are a partner.

Could he have expressed it differently, of course, but let's try not get hung up over what is actually correct business
terminology and because he has not publicly disavowed SISU.

On the Price of Football Podcast Kieran Maguire said after looking at small print on Companies House documents everything indicated SISU had no influence over decision making etc. Now King is in, and a 15% share naturally means no really influence
