I have a really bad feeling about all of this
He might not get efl approval
Are you suggesting they turn people down.He might not get efl approval
Maybe iou's involvedI’m very busy so I’ve had to drop out of thread and can’t catch up ‘so if already broached forgive me.
How much of his own actual money has Doug King spent acquiring CCFC from SISU.
All previous takeover attempts came with a cash offer, so I presume as they’ve actually accepted this offer there’s a significant amount of cash involved.
And possibly other people's money.Maybe iou's involved
But every previous offer to buy them out involved substantial amounts of cash (maybe not enough but substantial all the same) why would this be different. And possibly other people's money.
Nobody knows, and we may never know, given that we have no idea who has really owned CCFC for the last 15 years.
Would this come out in the accounts in company house. Eventually?OK so a question , Where's the debt gone ? And how are we debt free ?

They have and do, think they are a lot more stringent now, & there’s a bit of government pressure now there are a lot of clubs up to their necks financially one thing the EFL will investigate is clubs financial proposals going forwards. Not sure how this Doug King will be seen at the moment he is good at saying what fans want to hear but as we know talk is cheap. Are you suggesting they turn people down.

Would the commitment have to be backed up with a plan, at least a vauge one?If he shows proof of funds and makes a vague commitment to not quit the city for a 3rd time then that will probably do.
I would assume a lot of it is the debt that only really existed on paper, SISU owing money to itself.
So do you think we are actually debt free ? Just trying to gauge if it's business spin or actually legit
1 step back, 2 forward? Not trundling through the 10,000 post thread again but didn't somebody post a tweet from an ITK... or Richard Keys.... saying it would eventually come right but it'll get worse before it gets better and we'd have a good Xmas ? This may be the "worse" part. Not knowing who did what to who, where they did it and with what.

I’m just surmising but I’d think he will have to prove he has funds and the means to show he can sustain a professional football club going forwards he might be able to do that. I also think he will have to commit to playing home games in Coventry area that being the CBS id think as the EFL requires a 10 guarantee where your home games are to be played, doesn’t stop him building a ground locally in the meantime. If he shows proof of funds and makes a vague commitment to not quit the city for a 3rd time then that will probably do.
50/50 slowpoke on the latter, dawkins on twitter for the former. The Dawkins bit was cryptic, I also don't have twitter so have zero context outside of SBT
Not a robust test then...Well whatever’s required he can blag something then break his word if he needs to.

My itk has been pretty accurate up to now so onto stage three now, be patient. I’m trying to find out if this Doug King is a curve ball or for real.

Gang of bastards, explains brum. And the Maccems tbf
Someone wake me up when we are stadium and club as one.
Probably raises the bar in terms of funding, but ultimately it benefits the efl/prem. Not the fans.Well if it were too robust you’d struggle to find buyers for anyone!
