Might depend who the manager is
no, no it won't.

They have just spent big on Maupay who also scored goals at this level and has then had a couple of years PL experience.

Everton were nver anywhere never making a bit before either, his name appeared on a large long list of potential strikers they could look at

Interesting.

on iPad, the sticky header works, on iPhone, it doesn’t.

We're nearly a week on and just wondered when we anticipate formal confirmation from the EFL and both parties on completion of the deal?

Would be good to know if the EFL have actually recieved the proposal yet!

I've messaged them to ask (FOI ? ) , but doubt they'll respond.

So from that I'd say the ball is in King and the Club's court.
Did you make this as a FOI request? If so this is a very strange reply. It's not a question of policy whether they provide the information. They have a legal requirement to supply it unless an exemption applies. To be honest I suspect there is an exemption but it has nothing to do with any policy.

the EFL are a private organisation so FOI doesn’t apply.

None of it adds up

-No one had ever heard of him
-Another hedge fund with links to SISU
-'Debt Free' Remember when Fisher said that? Moneys just been moved about
- All conveniently announced 16 hours before the court hearing
- Suddenly had 25 Million to outbid Ashley
- Constantly saying 'Subject to approval' as if that's already the get out card lined up
- Conveniently willing to pay £25 Million for a stadium he openly admits hed never been too and hadn't done any due diligence
- Fuck all mentioned about the playing side etc

All quiet on the western front at the minute aswell. The EFL literally have nothing to do while the WC is on and weve heard shit all else.

I just see it as a last minute attempt at hijacking Ashley that was never going to happen but can be ''Look we tried but its everyone else fault' scenario again

It does. But equally IF (big if) he’s above board, I think I’d rather a slow and steady Robins+ approach than a sweep in and spend eleventy billion approach.

Talk of a new contract for Vik is promising, trust but verify is my stance so far.
Would be astonished if Gyo signs a new deal. Delighted too mind

They're not even subject to the Freedom of Information Act, the EFL is a private entity owned by its member clubs.

I mean, in their defence, they do to be fair. It's only the Championship not playing for a month. League 1 and League 2 are still going on.

And I'm sure their activities don't solely revolve around specific fixtures.

Kind of agree with the rest of your post though - it all does seem a bit strange.

It’ll be like buying a house won’t it, having to wait for the police to return a search or whatever?

Well it would be in his interest as in reality he could go in the summer having made one jump in salary and then get a higher figure - selling in January will only be to a failing Prem team or a team we are competing with - in the summer hes likely to go for much higher money

At the moment Doug King is no difference to any other would be buyer case of us waiting for this EFL verdict. Can’t see it taking that long.
