It's really not that difficult to understand. If you're in advanced stages of takeover negotiations, the current owners aren't going to risk the whole thing falling apart.
Yeah it’s not like they tried to sell O’Hare (who you think is amazing) to Burnley in summer 2022 is it?
so the season we got playoff final wasn’t the same scenario?

We were on 33 points that season at Christmas?
Your reading comprehension is atrociouswhat you talking about?
if sisu were gonna sell them 2 it would have been straightaway
they were never selling them 2 in Jan
They'd have had to have raised money to keep the club running somehow, much like we had to sell Hyam off. For the record, it's probably the only thing I give King credit for since he's bought the club.but you said they would? How do you know that?
everyone was saying win today, playoffs is on
I doubt any of them will start; I can't see Collins playing for us again. If he sticks with Collins, Binks and Dasilva for the next game, then the fans will be running out of patience already.
We can still salvage it with decent January recruitment , as I stated a million times before even under robinsI don't think everone was? It was the usual hype after one win.
The season is done and dusted for me.
I hope your right, to be honest I'm not impressed at all with Lampard so far.I doubt any of them will start; I can't see Collins playing for us again.

Team needs a couple of quality leaders
He deserves a couple of transfer windows (where he's actually backed) before he's judged, IMO.I hope your right, to be honest I'm not impressed at all with Lampard so far.
He's has a piss easy few games, and hasn't impressed me at all.
It's early days, and he needs to recruit well in Jan, but he's got a long way to go to turn this shit around.
you just they weren’t proven
Now you saying we tried to sell in 2022
what is it?
Yep, not replacing Hamer was a huge mistake, thinking we could rely on one of Eccles, Sheaf or Allan to do what Gus could do was crazy. We can still salvage it with decent January recruitment , as I stated a million times before even under robins
Team needs a couple of quality leaders
Sorry, I’m struggling to understand why you think those two statements are contradictory.
Let’s split it out.
1. O’Hare is not a proven Championship winner. The highest finish we ever finished with him in the team was 9th. We did better without him in 22/23.
2. Yes we tried to sell him to Burnley. It’s an open secret.
Those two things do not contradict each other
Do we win today if he playsHow thick are you?
Burnley won the league at a canter that season and wanted him
Sheffield Utd currently on course to get promoted have got him now
he is proven championship player whether you like it or not
while we are sitting bottom half since he left
If ohare was still here, would he start today? Of course he would
What does that mean? If you mean we won't make the play offs, then fair enough - but why is the season over? What I want is to see the manager work out his strongest team. implement a style of play, and identify where we need strengthening over the next window or two. As @Sick Boy said, the priority in the summer is a an experienced commanding keeper, plus recruit a couple of leaders, which were noticeably absent today. Whether FL is the right appointment or not, coaching wise, it seems obvious that we lack a bit of grit. Noticed a few occasions today of players looking hard done by re: 'fouls' whereas that Colby Bishop and the like were all up for a physical challenge (with arguably lesser ability). But there won't be any sniff off the play offs which ultimately means it's season over for me.

Why did he struggle to get in the team last season?
Let's be honest most of the mess regarding the quality of our squad is down to Robins.
The Barnsley trio, JDS, Binks and probably Dovin, BTA all strange buys.
Doug is liable if he blanket ruled out the purchase of older, experiences players or loans.
But whatever, what came in for our 'windfall' Gok, Gus money looks really low quality. Sad really.

It was pretty clear Robins started leaving him out when it was likely he was not signing a contract.
We were a far better side with him in. Not that he would have made a difference today.
Doug should hang up his boots...since king has come in we’ve regressed as a club on the pitch
fancy training ground means fuck all if the team ain’t good enough
I suspect he said something to keep player moral up while he was putting a big change in place, replacing the manager. He isn't gonna say it's a bit shit and Robin's pissed the money is he?So you think King was lying when he said its a top 6 deck?
No we weren’t
There were a fair few games last year where is was clear he was pulling out of challenges because he was worried about a major injury and not having any club at all.
Robins didn’t leave him out because of spite
Thing is, if you think it was right to get rid of Robins, then that only works if you bring someone better than Robins in.We didn't need a change in management , that's what he's done wrong , he's a wanker
