Time to get your wallet out in January, admit you’ve got it wrong with the shit we’ve brought in and back Lampard with the players he wants. If he doesn’t, and still thinks we’ve got a ‘top 6 deck’ then he’s clueless and we’ll be in a relegation battle. We need at least 2 CB’s and 1 CM with maybe more positions if we can giveaway some of our deadwood
King isn’t the chief scout, nor the manager that signed off on the players.

I’m sure he’s wondering how much to trust Austin versus allow Lampard more direct input.

Going to be interesting - Lampard even privately won’t stand for any bull shit from king, he knows his necks on line. So if he’s not backed, then you do wonder how it may play out.

regardless of what’s said publicly - FL will have wanted 100% assurance re transfers and activity in Jan/summer and beyond…….

At the moment
So King was mainly interested in the CBS that's why he bought us?
He lost out buying the CBS to Fraser's but bought the club hoping that some time unknown in the future he can buy it at some unknown price and I assume then sell it to some dope and make a fortune?
Is that the theory?

It's been rumored that House of Frasers is going bust, just like many high Street stores.

As a balance to the argument about whether SISU did or didn't owe King money, is it not possible that he in part already owned us and what was owed was his share? It's a hedge fund with anonymous investors. I assume Joy had a piece and probably a smaller piece for Fisher, but we don't know anyone else, so my guess was that King was the largest investor and simply said let me have a go.

“If you get to Christmas with 26 points, the pressure will be triple, the players will be thinking about the summer, the season’s gone and it will get way worse for the football club and put it at risk and that’s why I acted as I did.”

TOSSPOT!!
Whatever you think of his decision making, saying something as easy to objectively disprove such as this is really amateurish

There was no connection between King and Sisu before he bought the club.

He bought the club anticipating his purchase of CBS because he had made a higher bid

So all your speculation is wrong

No idea how these things work so have to ask, what criteria would make a lower bid succeed?

Frasers had a secured bid accepted by the Receiver. When at the Court hearing to approve the sale to Frasers, King admitted he did not have funds immediately and he had been unable to do Due Diligence to the satisfaction of his backers

Time being of the essence the Court approved the Frasers offer

Sounds pretty amateur from King. Like he didn't really understand how the process worked.
