What about instruments for the hill sheff utd , something as simple as a whistle . even if they fence off he hill 2000 whistles will be heard on sky ,remember how in south Africa the voo voo whalers pissed everyone off,90 mins off drums and whistles would have everyone watching asking whats that noise

Sounds like a good idea but I wouldn't be surprised to see fans moved away from the hill soon,as SISU won't like the attention being brought to the fans outside and not in.Not that there's many inside anyway.
I hope it won't come to that but you know how many rules are around these days.

Already sorted but can't give away all our tactics.
Bit like a football team never give away your team and formation to early to help out your opponents.

Won't it be obvious what the noise is when the hill overlooks the entire ground?
to quote myself "even if they fence the hill off" and the point being the noise was for the live tv

It will be louder. That's it. Maybe blowing whistles outside the latest UN meeting will stop the attack on Syria too.

"Hey Putin, what's that noise"

Bless you, you are a bit simple aren't you. Don't worry, get a whistle, that'll sort it all out.

I would say no whistles,it would give SISU an excuse to say we are causing problems to the match, and maybe try to have us moved on. voices are better than whistles. The Hill was in good voice on Sunday.

The thing about the vuvuzelas though is that they were incessant in South Africa as they were in the stadium and picked up by the mics. A relatively minor disturbance outside the ground could fairly easily be toned down by Sky's sound bods. To guarantee a nuisance it'd really need to be done inside.

I'm genuinely stumped. I don't know how to respond. You are offering nothing to this mini Internet battle, at all
What are you on about ? I started a topic not a mini internet battle, we get proper well reasoned answers , like it would affect the players or get toned down by sky , and then we get your insults , whats your point

Evening fella's
Blades fan here. Been reading your comments with interest and trying to imagine what we'd do if we were in a similar position.
I hope you'll forgive my post as it's not meant to be provocative towards you guys in any way and if this idea has already been mooted then please feel free to ask your mods to delete the post.
Personally if it were me I don't think I'd be travelling to Northampton to watch my team and 'support' whats happening at the moment based on my own principles and I've read with interest how split the opinions are amoungst you all.
What about this for the game against The Blades live on Sky.
Rather than turn up and protest on the day in front of the Sky cameras (and collectively for this one game only) why not agree a meeting place close to Highfield Road (a park or something where plenty of you could congregate without disruption to the locals) and have a demonstration during the game to show your frustration for the present position? I'm sure given your collective talents you could still get some kind of 'link' to the game (radio or tv) on a public address system at the venue so you can all support your team together at a place (or close to it) which I'm sure you still regard as a bit of a 'spiritual home'.
I'm sure with so few inside Sixfields on the day the media will be 'all over' this and you should get the coverage you deserve and the effect that SISU don't want. Maybe Sky would even get there cameras down to the site to take in the scenes?
Like I said, it's only a suggestion and not meant to provoke you in any way. I'm sure even the Blades fans would show their support on the day with a few banners or something.
In any case I wish you lots of luck in your endeavours.
It's still a 'football family' in many ways.

No offence taken and can assure that anything done on that day is not against your team, its to highlight our situation in the World media.

I used an example to belittle the idea because I think it's stupid.

You go off on one about 'important man' and 'quoting Putin' when I didn't. Then some other bollocks.

Either way. Instruments and whistles I believe won't have any effect. You are pissing into the wind. Stick with the singing.

If you want. I wasn't planning on it. But I couldn't help myself picking up on the incorrect use of 'quote'.

Group hug?
No thanks, go have your chats with putin and internet mini battles with someone who gives a fuck

Would it be possible for the sheff u game to be shown on a big screen at the ricoh? Any ideas who should be approached to check this out. Could get a big crowd with sky cameras watching.

ACL I would imagine?
But what would that achieve?
We need to be on that hill in numbers, the game has to be effected in some way.
Whistles cannot be heard due to the wind, but we need lots of noise.

We'll leave that to the 1000 or so loyal supporters who are in there apparently the noise is unbearable best it's been for years?

Let them move us on that is exactly what we need shows everyone they don't like what we are doing will make the news then.

Joy already believes we are hooligans and we have done nothing yet.
Oh yes 2 supporters ran on the pitch scandalous they should be flogged.

They will not fence us out, that would mean we would all end up outside the ground.

Who said whistles can't be heard due to the wind why is it going to blow a gale.
stand out side the ground and blow in the direction of the wind then we'll see what can't be heard don't just need to use the hill need to attack from all sides......
