Where's the money coming from Sisu will never build a ground.
Who funded the Ricoh? How much capital did the council put in?

More talk and blame throwing. I’d rather they ALL shutthefuckup until they find a solution. M8

SISU would go out to private investors to fund a new stadium and they would then seek a "management" fee together with raking in non-football related income. The private investors would get a decent return but SISU would cream it.
If it's insignificant with regards the negotiations then it shouldn't stop them taking place in the first place.
If they're so far away then why pressure to drop the action before entering negotiations then? That’s the point. They have a bargaining chip which means that they can dictate on what footings negotiations start. They’re playing at the Ricoh next season regardless. Us on the other hand. There’s no evidence that the continuing threat of legal action gives the club an equal footing let alone the upper hand to be described as a bargaining chip. That’s not me being pro one or anti the other. They’re appealing the right to appeal, they’ve then got to appeal, they're further away from getting to court now than they would have been had they never started the process in the first place. That’s just cold hard emotionless fact.

If that's all you've got then fair enough. Makes me even more likely to follow the team out of the city so we can be rid from under landlords that act with that sort of impunity without pressure from our supporters and their representatives.Because they can. It’s as cold as that.
This in itself is reason to get our own ground or away from the Ricoh as soon as possibleBecause they can. It’s as cold as that.

Why haven't they asked him why the council has continually insisted there has been no conversations with the club regarding a new stadium for him to now say there has been 'in recent years'?
FWIW I did. One replied quickly saying they'd been advised 'no comment' was the answer they were to give (fair enough I guess, I asked her to convey what CCFC meant to the city). The other pair didn't grace me with a reply even.Have you asked your local councillor to raise this stuff? Or in fact asked them why they voted for it?
Yes, more than once as I have mentioned on here before. I have yet to get any sort of meaningful answer to any of my questions.Have you asked your local councillor to raise this stuff? Or in fact asked them why they voted for it?
