Where's the money coming from Sisu will never build a ground.

SISU would go out to private investors to fund a new stadium and they would then seek a "management" fee together with raking in non-football related income. The private investors would get a decent return but SISU would cream it.

Just like Wasps would charge us “fair rent” we’d probably see far more income renting a SISU owned ground than we would ever see renting from wasps

If it's insignificant with regards the negotiations then it shouldn't stop them taking place in the first place.

That’s the point. They have a bargaining chip which means that they can dictate on what footings negotiations start. They’re playing at the Ricoh next season regardless. Us on the other hand. There’s no evidence that the continuing threat of legal action gives the club an equal footing let alone the upper hand to be described as a bargaining chip. That’s not me being pro one or anti the other. They’re appealing the right to appeal, they’ve then got to appeal, they're further away from getting to court now than they would have been had they never started the process in the first place. That’s just cold hard emotionless fact.

If they're so far away then why pressure to drop the action before entering negotiations then?

You can either be:
1. Worried about the actions so are desperate for them to be dropped which implies wrong doing.
or
2. Actions are meaningless waste of time which means they shouldn't stand in the way of negotiations as they haven't before.

You can bring up the point about it costing the council money but that doesn't concern London Wasps and is insignificant compared to sums wasted on other things.

Let's stop playing stupid and recognise that the no negotiations before legal action is dropped is a way for two external actors to distress CCFC so that more sympathetic owners can be installed.

Because they can. It’s as cold as that.
If that's all you've got then fair enough. Makes me even more likely to follow the team out of the city so we can be rid from under landlords that act with that sort of impunity without pressure from our supporters and their representatives.

Pickin up on Duggins from today "Its up to SISU with a trade off of the legals with the WASP for them to agree a deal"!
Are SISU thinking of ditching the legals after all but only by getting something out of WASPs i.e longer term deal with ability
to use utilise F&B funds tht they generate at a higher percentage than today etc? And utilise more of the RICOH for events !

Have you asked your local councillor to raise this stuff? Or in fact asked them why they voted for it?
FWIW I did. One replied quickly saying they'd been advised 'no comment' was the answer they were to give (fair enough I guess, I asked her to convey what CCFC meant to the city). The other pair didn't grace me with a reply even.

One of them has my vote next election, the other two can sod right off!

Yes, more than once as I have mentioned on here before. I have yet to get any sort of meaningful answer to any of my questions.
