That will certainly help. But there's already a growing fear that not enough kits will be available to clubs. Hardly fills you with confidence.
It's unlikely that millions will go back to work anytime soon though and those that do will be forced to action serious social distancing in order to work safely. Something that cannot be replicated on a football pitch. Does he not watch the news - or maybe he's been drooling over Trump's press conferences whilst cooped up in his Miami home for a bit too long?
The bloke is genuinely a dodgy dance away from being the EFL's very own David Brent.
Wonder what the motivation for that is .Talk of approved grounds being required could signal end of lower peague seasons
Just confirm us champions ffs

PPG is the only fair way it can be done they cant void it they know there will be legal cases from every angle. In my opinion the games get played or it’s void.
France are looking at PPG but the difference from here is that there’s nothing riding on the games in hand. PSG have to play Strasbourg who are safe from relegation and in Ligue 2 every club has played the same amount

Everything comes down to money
There is probably a tipping point at which the Government have to balance economic interests against public health interests. It is not feasible that they can cover the costs of people not working in the long term, without it having a grave impact on us all in the future, which in turn will impact on people's physical and mental health, and associated needs. No country can afford to be economically inactive for an extended period, and our Government must have forecasters in their ear advising them of what is the finite time for which we can keep the country in a lockdown state. The only thing is that tipping point will be a closely guarded secret, so none of us will know. Anyhow, to keep this to football, as pointed out if other 'non essential' businesses are to operate then why shouldn't football?
We managed the war for 6 years...
We can last as long as we choose in reality.
Sanitation issues i imagineWhat difference does it make if their approved ? Games will be behind closed doors
Really? Plenty of people are going back to work.
I have and some of my mates have. Have a look at how many tradesmen are going to suppliers.
Again, let's not get into the "If you play football you are going to kill your gran" nonsense.
I’d imagine it would be PPG calculated separately for home and away.I'm hearing that although the clubs would like to finish the season the number of factors against doing so are likely to torpedo any chance
Not least of the problems is players whose contracts expire at the end of June. Some clubs just can't afford to pay them with no income
And a huge number of tests will be needed which won't come cheap
If the games aren't played the consensus seems to be that divisions should be decided on merit but exactly how that will work isn't clear yet
Might be the least worst news for us
I’d imagine it would be PPG calculated separately for home and away.

He sounds like he’s getting his info from trump if he thinks the virus will be eliminated by September.Wycombe’s chairman would prefer void over games beyond closed doors
Wycombe chief Rob Couhig prefers end to season over games behind closed doors
You need to advise the government I’ll bet they’ve not thought of itI don’t get these people saying cancel the season, what’s the point? If the season can’t restart in June then restart it when it can.
You get people saying cancel this season and just build and wait for next season to start in September - well the situation won’t be any different in September to it is now, other than there possibly will be less deaths etc. The risk will still be there! Covid -19 isn’t going away, it never will not even with a vaccination. Sure the vaccination will control the numbers slightly and the hope is that there will be better medication to deal with the complications but like the common flu, we will have people die from it ever year.
So we either have to learn to accept that and adapt or rip up our lives completely and become hermits and not leave our houses under fear we might catch something. Ultimately Covid-19 is a strain of Coronavirus, Coronaviruses have been around forever attacking and killing us but we haven’t ran and hid from them.
Not clear if he favours that with promotion or just voiding the season like a prickWycombe’s chairman would prefer end the season over games beyond closed doors
