The deal surely is to provide X number of games a season and from what I see they will be getting them and more unless it's in the contract on a certain day their problem is not "paused contracts".Because during the last 3 months many punters have 'paused' their subscriptions and Sky have lost £millions in income
They obviously have the games now providing the season finishes but it's in a compressed period
Haha whenever I browse their forum (which isn’t very often) I notice Astute posts more than most Sunderland fans! Probably furloughed so really bored! And the other 5% is Astute
YesIs that aswell as tv money ?
How much is the tv money ? think I’ve read £4million or so and haven’t the Premiership offered some dosh to the championship clubs to help through this pandemic
I think the TV deal itself is worth about £2.4 million in the Championship and £750k in League 1 plus if your on live you get extra Leeds were on about 13 times if at home about £100,000 plus or £10,000 for away games.Don't know about the PL offerHow much is the tv money ? think I’ve read £4million or so and haven’t the Premiership offered some dosh to the championship clubs to help through this pandemic

There was 7 weeks left in the Championship so they've only really 'lost' 2 months subscription but equally there wouldn't normally be EFL games in June and July so they've gained 2 months there. They've also gained 10 extra live games. The deal surely is to provide X number of games a season and from what I see they will be getting them and more unless it's in the contract on a certain day their problem is not "paused contracts".
Are you sure it's not all 15 play off games in league 1?Anyone notice Sky's press release says they're showing all 15 play off games across the 3 EFL divisions. Doesn't that imply Tranmere's proposal of extra play off games isn't happening?
I haven't seen the contract but it must mean that dates were nominated for the period of the agreementThere was 7 weeks left in the Championship so they've only really 'lost' 2 months subscription but equally there wouldn't normally be EFL games in June and July so they've gained 2 months there. That all seems to pretty much even out to me so not sure why clubs have to pay millions back.
Could be due to the fact that the match day squad will be bigger when the championship resumes with 5 subs allowed and bigger numbers on bench... has obviously played his way into the reckoning of the manager.
Thinking outside the box, depending on the wage agreement between the clubs, he may well have "gone back" as soon as furlough was announced so BC could pay his wages which would have also lessened the burden on CCFC.
If he is in their squads in the next few weeks, we'll probably know we won't see him with us next year.
serious conversations about a 15-20m cap but with the extended season etc. unlikely to be in for next season.Isn’t there talk of a wage cap in the championship there are plenty of clubs in there pleading poverty due to coronavirus yet paying huge wages don’t think they will be allowed to have it both ways.
Take your pick!

Weren’t Pompey bought out by someone? I seem to remember the bloke from Disney being involved?Who do you want to win the play offs ?
Pompey who, due to poor owners, found themselves in the leagues lower depths and had to be rescued by fans and is now in fan ownership ? Wycombe or Fleetwood who are minnows performing well above their weight or Oxford, a footballing team and another local derby for us ?
As a club Portsmouth, like us been through the mill the last few years and fighting back, good loyal fans in the main too, but I have a hunch for Fleetwood, they have that much needed fighting edge to their game, love him or hate him their manager.

The return to BC for wages purposes could be a good point. And to follow on with your thinking outside the box, it may well be Robins has pretty much accepted that League 1 isn't restarting so has let Walshy go back to get more game time in at a more challenging level. And, here's where I'm hoping, with a view to putting in an approach after the Championship season is done.
tv Money + solidarity payment is around £ 7 million
You may get up to another million based on appearances
Fleetwood have spent to get where they are. I'd want Oxford as much as I think Robinson is a dick, every fan of theirs I spoke to in checkatrade final day was sound. For that reason I back themWho do you want to win the play offs ?

Pompey Trust sold to Americans about 3 years. They've pumped in a load of money. 2nd biggest wage budget in division.Who do you want to win the play offs ?
