Look at it this way, Simms is basically free in the eyes of those people shouting to take the first offer from Sporting for Vik at a rumoured 17 million euros. If the latest (24 million euros) is true, then that's about 7 million more (admittedly in euros), which would just about cover this transfer free.
Colour me shocked. Douglas is more business astute than the experts on SBT!
