Elvis references galore on the football league show ! I counted 5 !

It was funny at first now it is starting to grate on me...
also on a side note, think thats the first time Clive Platt and Roy O'Donovan have ever been described as 'unplayable'....
well... unplayable in a positive sense.

It's this Linnell bloke. Where's his self control?
He doesn't need to read out every fans message.
Maybe we are stuck with this but it seems he is a closet Elvis fan come out.

Does the younger generation really care. Is the older generation bovvered?

So not only are some posters unimpressed when others don't agree with their views, they also want to decide what names are allowed and if they like what people were called previously before joining us :D

I think it's already starting to wear thin and I blame that smarmy git Linnell! His fake laugh at each reference really started to bug me and as for his insistence that "There's a guy works down the Ricoh thinks he's Elvis" as the best of the day well apart from it being an incorrect song title (it was swears he's Elvis)...it just isn't funny or particularly clever!

Sp was robably bullied in school with the elvis sleggings, now hes getting it in his day job too

I get that people don't want to hear song lyrics in every match report, but suggesting it's a source of emotional trauma for him is one hell of a stretch.

I'm just glad to see that I'm not the only one who hates the constant Elvis puns. It's sooooooo boring and sad. Elvis Presley was only popular as good music hadn't been invented yet. And he was a weird freak. Not something I want constantly associating with my club (5 times in the 1 min FLS clip, tossers!) The only thing Elvis deserves credit for is for getting a song about bumming (which he didn't write, like all of his songs..) into the charts during a homophobic age.

We get it. You don't like Elvis. The rest is mindless twaddle. Stop stating your ridiculous opinion as if it is a fact.

Can't believe people are this wound up by some fans having a bit of a laugh-with talk of the club's future being in doubt surely a little bit of light heartedness is welcome?

It's only because he's just been appointed, within a few weeks you'll have people referring to him as Elvis but little in the way of '[team] were all shook up by Pressley's men' and that kind of thing.

Exactly.

In a few weeks it will only be the papers searching for a pun as a headline coming up with such stuff.

Elvis though is here to stay.

Unless he buggers off to Huddersfield after Mark Robins is sacked of course.

If you knew anything about Elvis you would know that is pretty offensive. I get it, you never appreciated him but now you are being a mindless idiot like you are most of the time. Sorry is that offensive?

Chill accept the humour, the puns will fade with time but insult a legend?

That's wholly unfair. What about his excellent acting ability. Come on, those films were Oscar material.
