If there was a demand for us to sell nearly 30,000 home tickets I'm sure there wouldn't be any problem reducing the segregation area

Not really the point i was making. Its the amount of silly stewards separating the small crowds when there's already a massive segregation area.

Have they blocked off seats from sale perhaps?

I purchased for the PNE game on 18 Aug (so 2 weeks before the game)... There was no availability in block 15, and just a handful of singles in Block 16 showing.

As mentioned there was a lot of empty seats in the corner.

The ticketing site mentioned a barrier but I didn't see one?

Im in block 15 and I was surprised with the amount of empty seats. In my row there must have been about a dozen and it was the same in other rows. I thought the block had sold out with st holders but unless there was a holiday to Butlins organised I cant see that many being away. Have the club purposely limited the seats in the block this season ?

i also noticed there was no dividing fence/wall or what ever was planned between block 5 and 16 so whats going on.
As I walked up from the concourse last night to block 15 I some one asking the three stewards on the steps what was the best entry for his seat as he was unsure what end it was. The three stewards all shrugged their shoulders and hadnt got a clue what end his seat number was. There was an officer at the top of the stairs who in his words said “ they are being more cautious tonight because of the amount of idiots that use block 15”

whilst I agree we do have our fair share of idiots its pretty obvious that anyone in block 15 now is tarred with the same brush and if it carries on I can see it pissing a lot of fans off this season
I'm sure I noticed some small barriers on the empty side of Jimmy Hill, unless they were already there.

Agree that there were lots of stewards last night costing the club a small fortune

However when some of our coked up fans continue to run on the pitch / act like complete morons, despite repeat warnings, what do we expect ?

Same again yesterday. The club have spoilt it.

10 empty seats in front and a similar number behind me in 16.

Atmosphere well down on last season. Many faces missing that used to get behind the team near us.

They need to sell those additional 500 tickets they took off sale.

I'd be surprised if the club have decided to not sell tickets there's a demand for without reason. Most likely they've been told not to by the safety group or its a cheaper option than more stewards / police / barriers

In our whole row there are only four persons all st holders in block 15. They have definately held seatts back and I dont even think you can buy them on general sale. Has really spoilt the atmosphere in block this season and I dont understand why theyve done it

What an indictment on the many then that they need those missing few to generate an atmosphere.
Where's the gumption?!!!!

Maybe if the dickheads that were constantly causing trouble and throwing things at away fans behaved themselves it wouldn’t be an issue.

As not on ifollow i used beIN Sports to watch the game
Deffo seemed a LOT quieter than normal, i just thought it was as they maybe got their coverage from further away than ifollow does.
Have to say, even not being there but listening to those blocks via ifollow makes me proud. I really missed hearing singers corner as usual.
I hope it comes back, and i'm sure the players will hear the difference, they often say it was them who kept them going ) in a round and about way).

Dont forget the overcrowding issue too which has now been stopped. After that derby game there was always going to be something like this happen

The worst thing yesterday I thought was that the majority of people in the corner were singing - but it wasn’t actually creating much noise which was disappointing compared to last season in particular

Think of we win tomorrow Saturday will be a good judge. I think everyone was on edge last game as just pissed off with the whole thing the game before. Hopefully some decent results can change the starting atmosphere a bit.

Using the phrase 'virtue signaling' is normally a good indication of someone's views.

Unless you actually meant virtual then I don't understand.
