Nearly 3 children under 8...what's that actual total, 2.76?? As rendel points out below, you must be a hazard to traffic on the M6/M1 if it takes you an hour to drive from Cov to Northampton!

The total will be three in two weeks so nearly three.

Correct I don't live in Coventry, from my parents it is 36.2 miles and around 45 minutes to Sixfields with no traffic but as there are hardly masses travelling I guess the roads aren't to busy and you can probably park near by but I am never going to find out.

Exactly. Top post.

To be fair, he didn't say he lives in Cov. His post suggested that he had to leave home at 2pm to get to the Ricoh, so maybe lives in Burntwood or somewhere?

The decline started long before SISU. Even before the club left Highfield Rd it was battling to stay in the Championship. Remember the last game at HR? It was a relegation battle ffs.

It didn't cost us £7m a season to be this shit at this level though.

Isn't the point of a new owner to change the direction of the business? I'm not sure "but it's always been shit" is high on the list of excuses CEOs use to shareholders to be honest.

And as others have said, they are in charge now. McGinnity, Richardson, Robinson can't do anything now, there should be a statute of limitations on saying "a big boy did it and ran away".

2013 - 9/10. Wilson and Clarke were great. A real threat.

2014 - 1/10 Clarke money didnt bring a replacement and our usual post xmas fall down the table

A decision that leaves a manager looking less attractive to other Clubs chairmen, facing heat from fans ,who In turn had been keeping further heat off the owners ,go figure?

League 1 survival for Coventry City should NEVER be celebrated but with the off field problems and lack of depth/experience in our squad this season has been superb.
We were always going to have dip in form at some point.
For many seasons players have been hammered for not giving 100%, if past squads had put in the same effort this season's has we would have had at least 1 season back in the top flight and not have been fighting for league 1 survival.

Well at least we stayed in this division that's just about the only positive to come out this season, something I believe Fisher and co didn't want. This gives at least us, us being the team another 2 years in the Football League it also imo could enhance a decision from Joy Sepalla re. SISU's long term plan and how long they stick around for.

Another thing why do people on here keep harping back to McGinnity, Robinson and Richardson we all know the dogs dinner they made of our club, just as I remember the much lauded Derrick Robbins cocked up appointing a young Brian Clough as our manager in the 70's. It is the here and now and the future that matters and if we have one we can do diddly squat about the past. I think we are at a critical point in our very existence let alone our future.

You never know. Them three weeks might be up in a couple of years.
