Sadly there is no alternative at the minute. We have zero chance, zero, of removing them from the club and there are 30 million reason's for that. Our only hope is that someone along the lines of Hoffman can put together a group of investors and buy the club, however having followed his attemts so far I'm far from convinced.
Although SISU haven't been the greatest they aren't to blame for our prediciment - Robinson, Richardson, Hoover, McGinnity, Elliot all oversaw our downfall and whoever is in charge of the club will always have a mill around the neck. To completely solve our problems we need a Abramovich type and that's never going to happen, admin won't even solve our problems as the club has almost no income.
I agree 100 percent rob. I can see by the 31st august we'll have no juke or clingan
I agree that it is the previous owners that are to blame with the current situation, however SISU have done nothing in order to reverse the clubs fortunes. I would love someone to explain to me why SISU bought us in the first place, what their business plan was, & why it changed.
They took over just before the recession hit and it was either SISU or admin - admin would have likely ended in liquidisation as the club had no assets. SISU have spent/wasted approx £30m - not many others would be willing to do that with us, I'm not a SISU backer just a realist and I'd prefer there to be a CCFC struggling with SISU over no CCFC at all.
Grass isn't always greener - as this takeover has/is proving!!!
sisu wanted the stadium, we were just a team playing in that stadium that they had to buy to try and get what they wanted.I agree that it is the previous owners that are to blame with the current situation, however SISU have done nothing in order to reverse the clubs fortunes. You mean sisu lent ccfc £30 million?
Why would it have ended up with liquidisation though when other clubs with no assets survive it?
I hope they dont get a penny back dinyull, just like the old shareholders got nothing.

Dinyull - what do you think of Freddie Shepherd? Does he have enough money to sort things out if he is Hoff's backer?
Well, I live in Newcastle (have for over 20 years) and after what he did to them (old Newcastle Chairman) I don't want him anywhere near us. A lot of Newcastle fans blame their current prediciment on the state Sheppard left the club in when he sold to Ashley (it was Ashley's fault for not completing due dillegence mind!) - he didn't spend much of his own money and made more on interest than he invested - I believe.
He is wealthy but not enough on his own to sort us out unless he's willing to risk everything.

It is. To be honest I think we've been fortunate (in a strange kind of way!!!) the past few years re. off off the field side of the club. Spending money on players, not having to worry about our future etc etc etc. I think the takeover quickly masked just how bad we had it under the previous regime - signing the likes of Andy Impey and Paul Watson on pay as you play type deals.
Hopefully he's just one of several backers then. I can see this takeover going through but it won't happen quickly.
I think we owe the council one for refusing to sell their share of the Ricoh to SISU.
Paul Watson?! Funny how some players I just don't remember at all since we came down yet I'd put money on me being able to remember most players from the prem and even where they played!
He reminds me alot of Robinson.
And as for the Stadium: the council bailed us out spending taxpayers money to build it in the first place - they should be looking to get the best deal they can, not throwing us another bone.
