It’s not really the scoring I’m worried about his general play is really limited and he doesn’t seem to be able to beat his man, he just gets near to him and falls over for a free kick.Didn't we write Simms and Wright off at a similar point last season?
He's getting in good positions to score and works hard for the team , I think he'll come good
Well, that's fine, as long as you didn't then eat itI don't see it with him yet
I know a Peterborough fan and she can't speak highly enough of him, bums him
When I said he's been pretty poor she reacted like i just stole her cat
Id sooner Taveres be playing
Just instead of ClarkeOn the left?
Looks like he’s playing within himself. Needs a goal and some time on the left to settle. Doesn’t look a £4m player though.
Just instead of Clarke
Id sooner Taveres be playing
He clearly has no future at the club.Id sooner Taveres be playing
You make your own luck in football, he wasn't unlucky against Watford, he should of scoredBased on the Man Utd game, or anything else?
EMC been unlucky to not have scored three goals so far this season. He will come good I think.
You make your own luck in football, he wasn't unlucky against Watford, he should of scored
As I have said before I do wonder what the Venn diagram of people who slag off EMC and who slagged of Wright and Simms at the start of last season.
Id actually like to see some posts. Any spreadsheet people help me out?!
Im unsure if he’ll be ‘amazing’ for us, but he’s getting in the right positions and I still think he’ll get 5 goals minimum this season. Is that enough? Not sure. He doesn’t seem to be the kind of wide player that runs at his man a lot, but you can see he is quite skillful.
Or falls over looking for a free kickWhat does he actually do?
A winger needs to do 1 of 3 main things at a time
- Take them on, Stand your defender up on the outside and cross it in
- Take them on, cut inside, get a shot away
- Cause worry to the full back by going at them. Make them know they are in for a hell of a fight
He does none of any of that. He runs towards the full back, dallys around with it, then passes it back to a usually marked midfielder
