Played brilliantly today but the song is absolutely awful. Can’t believe we’re about to fumble Dancing In The Dark for another “down the wing/make the City sing” tune.

I quite liked his song 😂 at least it seemed to go around the ground as well.

We have wasted so many decent song ideas though the last few seasons

Was absolutely brilliant today. That is what we paid the money for. But it’s undeniably a dilemma of sorts for two of our most obvious match-winners to look their most effective in the same position.

A pacey, strong winger than can cross the ball with either foot and scored 15 goals from Left wing last season doesn't look like a £4m player in today's market?

he's taking a bit of time to settle into a new team/system sure but he's going to be a very good player for us over the next few years.
Amazing what a little bit of backing can do for a player. Get Simms a few games and I am convinced he’ll get in the goals again. From there, a front 3 of Wright-Simms-EMC and we’re laughing.

EMC has played less games, yet has more goals and assists than most of our squad. Only Rudoni has more iirc.

Let's be honest there is plenty to come from the lad .

He has all the attributes to be a star in this league , we just have to get it out of him .

As saddle said , try haji through the middle as he is the best goalscorer at the club

Real dilemma for Lampard. Wright has been far better pulling out left but EMC making himself undroppable.

Id imagine its the sort of problem a managers happy to have though

Got to try haji through the middle with the quality of the balls we are putting in

That's the next big test for Lampard a three of Mason Clark, Haji Wright, Sakamoto.

Can Lampard turn Haji Wright into an out and out Centre Forward.

When is Haji likely to be back, might easily be another month, maybe 5 games.

Latest from the Coventry Telegraph.
“And with Haji Wright, it’s pretty similar really. In terms of do we expect him back in the next two or three games? No, because he’s not on the training pitch yet. So that’s one where we will have to wait and see.”

The head coach admits it’s frustrating not having the USA star available at a time when he’s trying to get results to lift confidence in the camp since coming into the club.

“I am obviously very keen to get him back because I understand his importance to the squad,” he said. “He’s a big player for us but I just have to work with what we have got now. We have got talent, we have got options so let’s try and get results, and Haji will be there soon for us as well, but as for these next two or three games, no.”

Him and Bassette seemed to often switch around I think him and Haji could do it better.

We’ve sang bugger all worth singing during our previous games. The fans had forgotten how to enjoy the match. It’s a damn sight better than the Latibaudiere drivel that fascinates some fans.

I have been a massive critic but is playing like he has had the Robins handbrake removed would he have crossed the ball for the second goal under Robins or would he had recycled it to the full back.

He'd have not taken on the first player to the half way line. He'd have passed back and then it's along the back four again, just hoping to bore the opposition to sleep.

Don't know what Robins was trying to do, but we all widely claimed we'd out power and out gun teams all season and Robins absolutely put the handbrakes on us. So weird

Glad hes making a visible improvement under Frank - hopefully more can take advantage
EMC had the best xGA (goals and assists) in the small sample size under Robins and there were multiple chances he should’ve done better. He had 1-2 chances similar to his goal yesterday and there was the gilt edge chance at Watford too.

We’re talking about a player who had 30+ goal contributions last year so EMC knows how to score and assist his teammates. Some of the early criticism of him was, again, premature and stupid.

I don’t want to denigrate Robins too much, but EMC is another example where all he needed was a manager to show faith in him. He was never going to get form being in and out of the team and limited to bit part cameos in matches.

The EMC song is eerily similar to the Tats one imo.

Saw someone on Facebook change the lyrics to 'When Frank Lampard's City start to play'.
