he doesn't actually know what he is on about, keeps going on about SISU taking the higgs to court. Don't think he realises it was the higgs.

Looks like he was equally a plonker on here - http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/32492-Goodbye-CCFC-and-Sky-Blues-Talk?p=470130#post470130 He signed up and a couple of weeks later made a big announcement he was leaving. A fine example of the people who shout NOPM, but don't actually know what the hell they are talking about.

now he just foams up at every article on the telegraph site.

I like how they put those comments on an article about how far we have come this season.

Loads more council fanboys on there that no longer post. Swiss moron, rich the buffoon, that twat that threatened to have me arrested - great stuff. Nice to confirm astute never wanted the club to own the stadium. He's happy at least.

Oh and match day threads seem a huge challenge for Noggin the Troll as well - major surprise.

Does anyone know who the Labour councillor is who rejected the idea of voting for the deputy leader by a show of hands?

This is a key point for me. Its not two private companies going at it. This is our council and, ultimately, our football club. The fact that the council were quite happy to do who knows how much long term damage to the football club just to get one over on its current owners is disgraceful.

It has been obvious for some time and was a stance that has been replicated on here.

Did he warble on about 'supporting the club for 50 years' much?

'Cos the CT's resident 'troll' does/did that.

You also posted a link to Reids article, which (in its headline) calls the council report a 'flawed' and 'whitewash', so no bias there :thinking about:

Reading the actual report will take some time, it is many pages.

Even you must have managed to read 75 (mostly blacked out) pages in 10 hours.

Yeah right. So me wanting CCC to keep a hold of the Ricoh until we had someone running our club that could be trusted is not wanting our club to have the Ricoh?

What I said that I thought SISU would do with it is what Wasps have done. Loaded it with debt. SISU were looking for a way out that would have given them a large cash amount so they could dump our club. And our club has been so badly run for a lot of years that we couldn't afford to buy it.

Are you now saying that you could forsee CCC letting someone else like Wasps have it? We all remember how you enjoyed calling it a white elephant.

Just quoting what you said - under no circumstances should CCFC own the stadium under sisu ownership,

You got your wish - nice one.

What galls me is that people didn't want SISU to own the stadium as they would debt load, are the ones either not bothered about Wasps doing the same or celebrating it.

I'm not referencing you here BTW.

If I was in Lucas or Mutton's position and hadn't done anything wrong I wouldn't be letting them bat this over to the new year. I'd still be there now and back tomorrow.

Maybe they're hoping everyone will forget about it. Perhaps they could call Webber Shadwick and get them to do a bit of PR!

Don't see as it any of your business as to what I do.However I will tell you that I am reired.I have supported the City financially since 1961.During their promotion year from the old third division I never missed a game home or away. Possibly when you can match that type of record you can question me as to what I do. I stopped supporting them "financially " when the " hedgefunders " took them to Northampton.Ref your silly comment about nothing to fear you need to get a grip.Sisu must have thought that the aformentioned councillors had something to fear otherwise why go down the "ethics" road
Ref the media campaign presumably you are referring to Fisher's comment "SISU is a distressed debt fund and therefore batters people in court."
Alternatively one could argue that CCC/ACL were entitled to attack your heroes after they tried to smash ACL by witholding rent.Of course you are conveniently forgetting that they also tried to deprive an underprivileged kids charity of funds
Please address this final passage with a plausible reason to deprive the kids. The council are big boys and have already proved their fitness to defend themselves

A guy gives it the "You dont know what I do" line, I say "I never asked what you did" and he comes back with that.

It is all about the deprived kids though.

If the guy doing the appeal can't understand what complaint the complainants are complaining about how can people make a judgement.

CCFC wouldn't have owned it. SISU would have. And I was saying that others would be interested in the Ricoh when you was calling it a white elephant. I didn't expect it to be a rugger club from London though. And SISU made the same mistake as you did.

SISU won't be here forever. Unfortunately, regardless of owner, the council has ensured that our club will never own a stadium built for us.

Alas, it seems they all are a wee bit dodgy

Council are up to their neck in it here. Sure there won't be any punishment for them but surely nobody can be following this and looking at the evidence and still believe there was ever any chance of us owning the Ricoh.

The council have well and truly screwed the club just so they can stick two fingers up at SISU. Thats becoming very clear

If it was a simple as that, I’d agree with you.

But what the JR said about the events of 2012 was far more complex. There were pages and pages of it, and the judge decided that the actions of the Council and the Higgs were taken to protect themselves from being stitched up. Maybe he was wrong, judges aren’t infallible, and we’ll find out when it all this **** gets dragged through the courts again.

There was a clear element of left-wing ideology versus SISU’s (in Fisher’s words) “uber capitalism”. But we aren’t just talking about a few left-wing hotheads here – it was officers of the council, the Higgs charity and (when it came to the Wasps sale) all elected member of the council IIRC. Every single one of them was childishly “sticking two fingers up” were they, for no good reason and without a voice of dissent? How come?

I’m not passionately anti-SISU, and I give them great credit for some of the recent changes. But as the owners of the club they got all their tactics disastrously wrong regarding the stadium, and CCFC ended up losing the chance of what should have been our prime asset.

Both sisu and the council have failed the club and us, the fans over the last 8-9 years. As has been previously said, sisu certainly won't be here forever, however the council have ensured that no matter who owns the club will never have an opportunity to own the Ricoh.

We all feel the same pain SB, but I hope you’re wrong about never having an opportunity.

The Ricoh can easily support two successful sports clubs, and in fact is more viable that way. Somebody somewhere must have an answer. I hope I'm not pushing up the daisies by the time it happens.

The notion the football club would ever own a stadium in its own right would be pie in the sky. Any business that suggested it would be unfit for purpose.

Sisu would never have owned the stadium either. CCFC (holdings ) would have owned it and that would have been the correct decision.

The stadium clearly was a white elephant as the documents toddy showed. The council would do anything to stop the club getting it but acknowledged it was a financial basket case they could I'll afford to own

Everything has a price. The Ricoh many on here said was a gold mine without CCFC. A potential for wonderful things. A rival to the NEC.

In the end it was sold for less than sisu paid Freddie Eastwood over his contract with the club.

So, either Freddie Eastwood was worth more than a gold mine of a stadium or the stadium was valued at less than a centre forward who was a flop in his profession. White elephant - you decide.

I try to look at it all in an unbiased way. SISU wanted it as cheap as they could get it. CCC couldn't let it go for what SISU sounded as though they wanted it for. And Fisher couldn't keep his big gob shut. The arena was making a loss when we went to Northampton. Not good in these times of cuts. SISU shouldn't have gone behind the backs of CCC/ACL in trying to take the mortgage over. CCC shouldn't have let the arena go to Wasps. And I have still left lots out.

I wouldn't read too much into todays proceedings. It was SISU'S turn for their legal team. One way traffic. Just like in the JR'S. The reason for today is more important IMHO.

Dunno what's more disgusting, his view that ACL should refuse to do a deal with SISU or the number of likes it received.
