I think Kane is being given the wrong instruction or we're playing the wrong personnel.
If he's being told to drop deep, as he has been, then we should be playing two of Sterling, Rashford or Sancho wide, players that will run into the space created - how we scored against Croatia.
If he's our goal threat then we need to tell him to play on the shoulder and play Grealish and Foden, maybe Mount, behind him to create the chances.
Look at Lukaku now for Belgium, playing as a 9 and constantly running into the box.

That rumour always makes me laugh, those players, used to winning trophies, would have to agree to go to Spurs first. I think all 3 could and will get much better moves should they move on.

On another note it pisses me off that the team is leaked 24 hours in advance. Give the opposition manager an hour to prepare like they do in any other game.

Kane has been badly off form the last two games, but he has to start as on form he’s a difference maker and the only way he’ll regain form is by playing.
Plus, DCL has been poor the few times I’ve seen him, so we essentially have no alternative.
On the Southgate issue, last game was slightly baffling at times, but as I put before it’s a bit of a one off game. Let’s see what he does tomorrow and more importantly the following game where we’ll likely get a strong opponent.
Yes we have an array of attacking talent but it isn’t as simple as just throwing them all in. But I agree it’s up to Southgate to work out the best combo.

I wouldn't rise rise it to be honest. There are people so desperate to defend Raheem that they say the people who criticise him are racist.
Pretty incredible considering Rashford, Sancho, and DKL are 3 of the 4 players that people want to replace him with.
