I was pretty shocked reading though here this morning. I've got a sore head from celebrating us winning at the pub. Being able to celebrate wins doesn't come often enough, take them.
Until it goes to pens ?I'd prefer to avoid France, Mbappe and Griezman running behind our backline sends shivers down my spine.
I'd obviously want Hungary but as that's unlikely I'd take Germany over Portugal.

Germany battered Portugal in the group stages and followed it up with a draw to Ghana and a 1-0 win over the USA.
Germany and France were favourites for both of those World Cups having come very close to winning major trophies previously and we’re not at that level, yet.
We’ve got a good team, and I fancy us to up our game now, but I’m not going to judge Southgate over qualifiers, friendlies and the group stage. It’s all about the knockout stages.

For this euros we scored 37 goals conceded 6 in 2 less games so your argument doesn't really make sense to be honest.34 goals just 6 conceded. I was asked for an entertaining England side and that was one.
