For those saying Sterling or Grealish should have taken one, Raheem has scored 2 pens from 5, Grealish did score but has only ever taken 1.

For such a large footballing nation we don't have much success to look back on. I was checking on previous tournaments yesterday and realised we went through a period in the 70's where we couldn't even qualify for the Euros or World Cup. Frankly that's embarrassing, even more so when teams like Greece can win the Euros.
Historically we don't belong with great footballing nations.

It is, but you’re more likely to fluff the shot with an almost stationary kick as opposed to one that can still beat the keeper for power if he guesses correctly.
