When was the last time you watched England under Southgate and thought wow ?Do you think French fans are all defeatist over their draw with Hungary? It could well be the case that Southgate’s caution pays dividends in the knockout stages.

To be honest mate, that’s what I thought it always was till VAR. And then they messed around with it. But I think it is just goalscoring parts of the body… could be wrong though!So it's only goal scoring parts of the body that can be offside?

I might be wrong in saying this so apologies- but I think I’m right in saying we have most of possession these days. I don’t think I ever remember that being the case before- we’d have low possession and hope for a few chances. We’re not doing so bad and one draw v Scotland doesn’t turn us into total mugs
