Still can't get my head around Bon Jovi and Manic Street Preachers.
Surprise surprise.I can -- they are both shite
I can -- they are both shite
I suppose you think Boyzone are light years ahead of them?
Surprise surprise.
Well they are that suite they can fill any arena in the world.
I for one will be going.
I hear Marillion will be busking in the car park.
The Manics used to be a great band. Love The Holy Bible.Jon Von Boni is greyer than a wet weekend in Hull and he can't sing for shit anymore.
The manic street preachers would be fun to watch just to see the downfall of what used to be a respected indie band.
So, enlighten us Grendel, what or who are your music tastes?I can -- they are both shite
Anyone with any musical taste would.Rather see the manics than Bon Jovi to be honest

Did you mean to put 2,000 or have you missed a zero off as they've headlined places like the Liberty Stadium in recent years as well as arena tours in 2015 and 2018.Manic street preachers normally play in sub 2.000 stadiums
Really?Manic street preachers normally play in sub 2.000 stadiums
Really?

They tend to alternate arena tours with tours of smaller places as they alternate playing the hits and playing the catalogue stuff the hardcore fans want to hear.
Everything must go was also a top album to be fairI saw the Manics twice when they were touring following the release of their first two albums and they were awesome. That was 25+ years ago though and it was at a time when there was four of them. Can take them or leave them after that period, wouldn’t turn the radio off if they came on but equally wouldn’t buy/download their records after the first two albums.
Not at all surprised they’re supporting Bon Jovi as James Dean Bradfield learned guitar from copying “rock” music of his youth and they were one of the bands he copied, so I’m guessing he’s a fan on some level.
It's also not a stadiumYes really - I don’t think the corn exchange in Cambridge is an arena
No I didn’t - liberty stadium is in Wales which may make some impact
Think the MEN holds 20k.
Anyway...
Thunder > Bon Jovi

Marillion actually do play in mostly 2k venues.
