Clarified in the third line.
The criteria is subjective not a tick list.No it wasn't.
You said you can just bin some of them which is the opposite of what you have been banging on about.
If they are potential good candidates, they will have met the criteria. If they are nonsense, they will get ignored.
It isn't rocket science.
honestly you two, we get it, you disagree
The criteria is subjective not a tick list.
If you’ve taken the time to write a CCFC specific covering letter you deserve a reply.
Sometimes constructive criticism helps the club but to just accept everything they say makes them believe all is well and nothing improves or changes.
I love this sitehonestly you two, we get it, you disagree
I think you missed out the "H" in the last word of your postI love this site
You said some can be binned? Make up your mind.
Just the usual tying yourself up in knots by chatting shit.
If the club feel that their criteria matches, then obviously they will get a reply and go further. If they don't, they won't.
It's really not complicated to understand.
Yeah that's common place now, and even if you do get acknowledgement from then they usually say they can't give feedback. I'm still waiting to hear if got shortlisted for a job I applied to in February, interview was due to take place on 5th March.....that was at one of the 2 universities and I met all of the essential criteria. Still no email....

Can't make excuses these days for not replying.
Just add their email onto one standard email and send it out at the end of the day.
Not criticising the job just the process that will put some people off applying.
Just giving him the benefits of my greater experience
This thread is going well. Some good news about improving how the club is run and italia can't wait to jump all over the thread trying to drag it down.
It’s not though is it? Your “experience” regarding JLR and it’s pension plan was bollocks. Oh mate of mine whose two levels below management got £925,000 in his Bank last week.
External applicants often aren’t regretted - clueless.
How dare a potential employer expect you to make yourself available for interview. Bet you'd never find that anywhere but CCFC.There is an underlying problem with job applications for CCFC where it seems take it or leave it.
Press Officer was a classic where you 'must' be available for interview on the Friday afternoon 22nd September.

Most jobs will have an interview date in the advert. Rightly or wrong, things have moved on very few employers respond to unsuccessful candidates, and most companies have interview date in the advert. There is an underlying problem with job applications for CCFC where it seems take it or leave it.

I know JLR is used to getting the world's leading Oxbridge and Harvard graduates, who can only aspire to plating the execs' shoes in gold... but just about every job I've gone for has expected me to be available on a certain day for interview. Nor do I get replies if I don't get the gig."Must be available" on one specific Friday afternoon. is a bit take it or leave it, particular for quite an important and highly qualified job.
Don't you agree?
Certainly sets the scene for a great job environment.

A cov council example

He won't have it. As its ccfc its wrong, doesn't matter that everyone else does it. Any chance to put the boot in, Italias there.I know JLR is used to getting the world's leading Oxbridge and Harvard graduates, who can only aspire to plating the execs' shoes in gold... but just about every job I've gone for has expected me to be available on a certain day for interview. Maybe, but tbh I tend to find the generic cut and paste rejections more condescending than being ignored. At least there's something genuine in being ignored, rather than the fake platitudes about the high standard of applications (especially if the job then gets re-advertised!).Seems things have moved on then.
IMHO it's not right. Particularly if now days you don't have to write and post a letter,
Don't agree in the slightest. Its the way it is everywhere. An interview date is given and if you can't make it you miss out. You might not like it, I might not like it but its the case with pretty much every job."Must be available" on one specific Friday afternoon. is a bit take it or leave it, particular for quite an important and highly qualified job.

You'd expect £35K basic for a sales job?I'd say that the salary for this job is £10k-£15k under industry average. Hopefully there is somebody very well qualified who loves CCFC and is willing to take a pay cut.
Course he did LOL
Delusional ?
At JLR when I was there, unsuccessful candidates were never ignored. Standards have dropped if thats the case.

Yes he did due to changes in the defined benefit scheme legislation you out of touch buffoon.
A Million pound for a Junior Engineer and you call me a buffoon ?
