Missed the game as I was away for the day, but caught the result last night.

I appreciate it`s only been one game, but what`s the initial impression, has anything improved or is it more of the same ?

Trying hard to be positive. You could see he was trying something and the players just didn’t fully understand their jobs. So it’s hard to judge whether he’s tried the wrong thing, tried something too complex too early, or just not had enough time.

Between Everton and his 2 Nd spell at Chelsea he won something like 2 games out of 24. How about he's not very good really.

Yeah but come on SB at Everton he had a mental overly involved chairman and at Chelsea a squad that was mentally checked out, so completely different story 🤣

That was his biggest problem with us, persisting with a system that didn’t suit a limited set of players.

Only my opinion, but I feel that sometimes when a very talented player becomes a manager of a club without the players to play at tje standard he played at, they seem to struggle sometimes, due to expecting too much from them.

Roy Keane being a very good example and Rooney is tanking at the mo at Plymouth too.
