Their wont be any running to the play offs this season ffs, forget that pipe dream! Like I said attendances would improve if we was producing on the pitch slightly, but the damage has been done for many many fans by our (wonderful in your eyes) owners. Dick.

The only way we will get a play off push is with REAL funding, will SISU do that? Mowbray or whoever is in the role next season will need significant resource to overhaul the squad, hes not a magician, he needs to the tools provided by SISU ( your lovers)

do you realise how childish you sound?

Brilliant.

My point is a sniff of success, people will start to return regardless of owner.
Your snipes are pretty pathetic tbh.

And to answer your own question who's fault is it they do not want to watch this standard of football? who employed a joke of a manager and took us down from the championship and refused to offer the significant backing when Ranson requested it to take us to the next level?
Its true that that the competency of the owners and our position are obviously directly linked but you've sorta proven my point.

Hypothetical

A successful team under SISU would still attract good attendances

An unsuccessful team under another owner would still attract poor attendances

You've got a season ticket pal, you now expect everyone else to flock up there and help keep you warm for £22 a punt ??!
You can still purchase season tickets for the 7 remaining home games, adult prices are £12 a game in the JSB zone or £15 a game in the standard zone.

@ covmark......It does matter who the owners are. At least it does for thousands upon thousands of fans at CCFC. Investment in the team is crucial to get the lost fans back. A winning formula would be great, but if the fans can see a big effort being made by the owners to actually "Do something constructive" in that area then perhaps(Not nailed on with this shower of s**t in charge) crowds, if they're not being crapped on, might, just might, start coming back. Don't hold your breath though.

So your saying forget 7 years of asset stripping, moving the club out the city which affected local businesses/ families, 7 years of constant lies and bullshit, refusing to listen to the customer, refusing to open dialogue in a sensible manner and not bullyboy tactics, refusing to build a team capable of promotion to league one or offer significant funding when players were identified in the championship era which would of took us to the next level....

Constant threats made, litigations, court cases, debts piling up against the club, management fees paid to bafoons, stadium talk to keep the fans on board which is pure bullshit but some simpletons still believe not many but some.

Always support the team yes, but Sisu... honestly?

All because we have signed a manager with a good track record but has not managed us for half a dozen games yet... have you lost your marbles?

Ah that's a bit mean mate, have you forgotten Tim is gonna announce some exciting stadium news in the new year?:sarcasm:

Simple fact is Sisu owe the fans big time.

They have so far done absolutely nothing to make it up to the fans. Until they do many wont have anything to do with them.

If a miracle happens and somehow they bring success to the club, fans might, just start to forgive them and come back to the Ricoh.

At what point do you come back ? Promotion ?
Personally a commitment on the right direction should get a positive response from fans.
Fill the Ricoh Saturday and see what they do next !!

Nothing!

Sorry, but the olive branch needs to come from Sisu, and I don't think a lot of people will trust a commitment in the right direction. I've known these long enough now to know that their commitments and promises mean nothing.

Until they actually do something (not just say it) good for the club then I will hold them in the same contempt that I have for the last 3.5 years.

Certainly not simply because they've appointed a manager on a 2 month contract! Knee-jerk much?

Hopefully 4 points gained by Sunday. Then for the rearranged Bradford game, which by the way was supposed to be on Valentines Day; maybe show a bit of love with really cheap tickets and merchandise. Could aim for a 20000+gate....not impossible. I've still got a Valentines card, I'll send to Joy. Hell I'd send it to Waggott. From? XXX

Ah, that's what it was. Knew it was hot, when passed over my head.:)

Years later, remember often getting warm feet at the front of Spion Kop; that most definitely was NOT tea.

With the appointment of the new top class manager we should all rethink our position.

How about we all get behind the team as if nothing has happened?
It's all in the past and we can't change it.
Get down to the Ricoh as if SISU are the ideal club owners.
We have a top class manager and it's onwards and upwards.

If it goes tits up we can start the protests but at the moment lets give it 100%.

Drinks on me at Barnsley tonight

Brave post Italia! I haven't read the whole thread but I imagine you've copped some flack. But yeah, why don't we!
