To anyone criticising the hill protest - have some pride, stand up, and act like a man. YOUR football club has been taken away to Northampton.
Whatever your views on who has forced the move, this is a protest against us being there at all.
If you blame the Council - get on the hill.
If you blame the Football League - get on the hill.
If you blame SISU - get on the hill.
The hill is perfect - the Sky cameras can't miss us.
Drown out the commentary and the football world will be talking about the protest. We all see clips of unusual things at football like the tennis balls being thrown onto the pitch - well this is our take on the protest, making use of a uniquely positioned stadium. The attendance will be awful due to both teams being away from home and the game being on Sky. There will be more people on the hill than in sickfields.
There is not a person on here who wants the club in Northampton, and therefore no excuse not to protest, unless you insist on going into the ground (please don't though).
See you all Sunday with horns, vuvuzelas, drums, whistles and anything you can get your hands on.
We want our club back.

If you blame the council how will standing on the hill help?
Or I have shown my solidarity to 90% of city fans and not travelled to Northampton to watch the team I love...
Looks like channel 4 are doing a programme about you hillers...

What?
It's a protest against us playing in shitty Northampton.
Anyone who has caused it will be ashamed of the coverage.
Is that the best you could do you fake Coventry supporter?

Why is somebody fake? Why protest about us being moved by going to the new location?
In my eyes, someone who widens the gap between fans is not really a fan. Particularly if they don't attend any matches.

Are you for real Nick? This guy comes on here every day laughing at the despair of fellow supporters and never ever contributes to a match day thread or gives any suggestion whatsoever that he has any affection for this club.
Tell me, if he was here on the wind up to upset people - how would he behave differently?...

In that case why so you continually ignore my challenge. Lets up the stake. £500 to a charity of your choice. We each have to answer live on line 10 questions about a club I know nothing about set and approved by dean and nick.
Remember I'm not a fan so nothing to lose.
Yes or are you a pussy with no balls?
Live on line? Do you think you're some sort of celebrity?
Nobody cares how fast you can google answers to questions, or that you're old enough to remember Clarrie Bourton's debut.
The issue here is that you revel in the misery of City supporters.

I really hope fans of other clubs, and there are plenty who have shown support for us, are not reading this tonight. It really is soul destroying to be honest.
Got you summed up to a T though hasn't he?
Now could you kindly move the Grenduffy Show to another thread so we can get back to the topic at hand.
He's a juvenile clown and you have both on here send GMK proved you are an idiot. Fortunate most of our supporters are far, far more balanced and sensible than the pair of you.
At least I know how to get rid of Rich now. I just mention the challenge, he throws more childish insults and logs off.
Oh God, can we stop the bickering between ourselves for five minutes, just as a trial run?!?

I do look forward to the hill always. Good laugh, everyone gets on, good sing song and hopefully an interview off a hotty from sky
Would you even care if you couldn't see half the pitch ???
I'm sorry to say it would be much better if you were all inside Sixfields getting behind the team & the manager and forget the stupid politics & protests IMHO!
But what I meant is if the hill is the majority view why aren't thousands on the hill? What is this majority view anyway?
I've been thinking along those same lines myself, and my conclusion is that the majority of posters on this site are heavily biased against anything that has anything even remotely positive about SISU, whether it is logical or not (and in most cases it is not). The standard request to prove this statement beyond any semblance of doubt will be ignored.
What I would like to know is how representative the opinions of the aforementioned majority on SBT is of the fan base at large. I can see straight away that the attendances at Sixfields have suffered, but the protests have been rather pathetically attended (except the march, which really made a mark). As far as I can see, when we get closer to home, whether it be at the Ricoh or somewhere just outside the city boundary, attendances will improve, especially if results combined with attractive football keep going our way.
There's almost a sub-culture that has been created where the club itself is no longer important, and has had its place taken by a sort of witch hunt whose only real aim is to destroy SISU, even if it means the end of Coventry City.
The important thing for the club long term is for sisu to go and then we will have a future.
The Majority view is that it is wrong we are playing in northampton
Who with instead?
I tell you what could be worse than SISU pal - liquidation and winding up. Get real - they cant "go" and if they did there would be no club whether we like that or not. If you REALLY wanted what was in the best interests of club in the short term, you would be at Sixfields paying to get in.
Now I know that sticks in the craw of many people on here but the protest is going nowhere and has no focus, no white knights are bounding over the hill and relegation this season would be catastrophic..so support the club, not sisu and fill Sixfields.
