It was more a belief he couldn’t. How is this even legal?
Club informed on Friday.
Breaking news here on Monday.
Where were all the ITK's?
I find all this stuff exceptionally dull, and yearn for days when we can just enjoy watching football.Never a dull moment is there following us
If this is indeed Mike Ashley's way of getting hold of the club what a way to introduce yourself to the fans.
Everyone involved in this are absolute wankers
Isn't it now in Sisu's best interest to just sell all the family silver?
There's every chance this is an overkill from Gilbert and CWR and may explain why the club have been quiet.
Chances are we are sorting a few issues around contracts and will be playing here against Swansea with no issues.
Sadly I suspect you are rightYup. Council say Coventry City will be protected and Ashley comes in and immediately says our contract isn't valid anymore.
The Burnley Vik thing is now looking so much more likely isn't it.
Isn't it now in Sisu's best interest to just sell all the family silver?
What's he going to do with an empty stadium? The Midlands swankiest warehouse??
It HAS to be a ploy to get the club, surely?
We need answers of what CCC have done as freeholders to ensure this didn’t happen cos clearly it wasn’t enough. Great way to start your new base of operations that, piss off the entire city.
King had said he’d spoken to them and the deal continued as well. What the fuck is going on?
Will stop Doug's purchase. SISU backed into a corner. The biggest bit of sh&te in all this, is you can see SISU grabbing as much £££££s from selling everybody before they sell.
Same vibe...It was more a belief he couldn’t. How is this even legal?
Absolute joke. He can fuck off coming anywhere near the club now the prick.
Exactly. Will stop Doug's purchase. SISU backed into a corner. The biggest bit of sh&te in all this, is you can see SISU grabbing as much £££££s from selling everybody before they sell.
According to Duggins and Reeves they were "assured". You would have thought they would have learnt from Wasps assurances.
Should be a covenant in the lease at a minimum
Empty words ehcheers georgy boy
It happened last time when they said it was a condition of Wasps buying ACL, turns out they just said it for PR and proceeded to fuck us over.
Yep wankerWhen we're flying and with a 4un of home games coming up. What a wanker.
According to Duggins and Reeves they were "assured". You would have thought they would have learnt from Wasps assurances.
A spokesperson for Frasers Group said the business was 'delighted with the acquisition'.
The spokesperson added: "The CBS Arena will complement the Group’s existing portfolio of brands and investments. Through the acquisition, we are pleased to have been able to secure a long term future for the Arena, protecting jobs and supporting the local community.
"In particular, we are looking forward to working with Coventry City Football Club."
Either way this our season over. No chance we don’t have to sell in January now.
Don’t panic Mr Mainwaring.
Looking at things from a step back, what else can the CBS stadium be used for other than mainly football matches, they can do other sports like womens football, grid-iron perhaps & things to the interior to have other sports such as snooker, darts they have those now, basketball, ice-hockey perhaps so it becomes a multi-sports arena as said ccfc signs are still up I’m not losing sleep over this yet. Sisu are in the shit, we know it, Fraser group certainly know it I’ll just await the next chapter, Mike Ashley was always going to play the game his way and sisu and let’s be honest we knew it.
Twists Doug Kings arm a bit going to be an interesting couple of weeks.
