Strange one Maguire-Drew. Seen him play a few times down here and been the best player on the pitch each time. Yet he doesn't seem to get more than a season with anyone and now NLSouth

He really didn't.
He did for me - Thought he was excellent when he first come into the team,

We seem to sensationalise how good Maddison actually was with us a bit to be honest, he spent the best part of his one proper season in the first team injured and downed tools completely after his move to Norwich was sealed, most fans couldn’t stand him by the end of the season and couldn’t want to be shot of him

That's because most football fans are sensationalist idiots. See current social media who all can't wait to get rid of Vik because he did one interview where he basically just confirmed what we all knew. Maddison was miles and miles ahead of Stevenson.

Of course it's subjective but I thought pretty early on that Maddison would end up playing for England. Some players just stand out even at any early age. Stevenson always looked pretty mediocre to me and I am not at all surprised how their respective careers have panned out.

It was obvious he was going to be some player yet at the time many just complained he was lightweight and wouldn’t make it. I think he was 17 at the time? Ludicrous.

Disagree - I thought Stevenson looked bright in a very poor side and thought he had potential to do a lot more than he has

Also would have never expected Maddison to excel the way he has but fair play to him

Shows why I am not working in football I guess

Maddison to Spurs looks like it’s happening. Fee and personal terms agreed.
I recall people saying we get a share of profit from Norwich although imagine it won’t be much.

Reported fee is £40 million. Could possibly be worth £500k- £1 mill my guess, surely the sell on fee is higher than 10% for both ourselves and Norwich?

I would assume we receive 10% of the profit Norwich make so it’s £200,000

Yea if it's 10%, I was hoping it would be more.

Just checked and paper reports seem to think it's a sell on of 15% for Norwich and 10-15% for us, so seems a little underwhelming
