Genuinely surprised Rose has got a Championship team. Thought he would be a shoe in at someone like Derby.

Would love a Harlem Globetrotters former CCFC players team with entertaining but mental players. Bright, Dacosta, Kastaneer, who else would be in your most entertaining former XI?

- Duckens Nazon seemed a bit mad
- Ben Wilson is a current player who would probably qualify as well
- Michael Doyle. Still remember that post-match interview with someone who played against us and was marked by Doyle. The back of his leg looked like something you'd see from a victim of Jurassic Park

What is it with Charlton and our RB / RWBs?

What happened to Kane?

Is he still under contract here for a couple of months ? Wiki says 2 year deal from 31st Aug 21.

There was somebody a while back who was saying he had a degenerative condition (Hip maybe?) And had been told to consider retirement.

If that's the case, and obviously I wish him well, but why on earth was he playing for us? The playoff final isn't a charity event, and it feels a bit more sickening if the person who cost us at the death wasn't fit to be playing professional football anymore.

Well if that is the case (and we don’t know) maybe it explains why he lost some form and confidence - and his place in our starting XI.
I don’t think for a second it affected his ability to hit a penalty under pressure under the bar and would hope that we could refrain from blaming a bloke who had the guts to take a sudden death penalty for our failure to progress (surely the players who didn’t feature in the first six takers - inc McFadz are just as culpable? )

I don't know the full medical results of course but hip was mentioned yes.

I liked Dabo and think overall he was a fab player for us and a fab character to have around the dressing room from the bits i saw.

Gutted for him as League one Charlton I think would have been a great fit for him - wish him well and hope the failed medical is not as bad as was intimated to me don't want the penalty miss to be the last thing he does professionally for sure.

I don't think it was to do with ability at all.

More to do with causing damage to his body that would affect him beyond his playing career and would cause him discomfort.

Dabo for me looked completely shot to bits after the second St. Andrew’s season

He tried to do the things he’d do in the League 1 season but it looked like his body just didn’t allow him too, combined with losing any turn of pace he had

Even just the way he ran. Like he was trying to generate speed with his upper body because his legs weren’t responding like he wanted. Really hope it’s something he can get sorted for his long term health. There are some things more important than football. Anyone can miss a penalty but, as someone who snapped my ACL two weeks after my daughter was born, being able to kneel down and play with your kids or grandchildren is way more important.

Jordan Henderson (ex player basis a bit sketchy but nonetheless) off to Saudi for £12m plus add ons, age 33.

They are throwing cash about down there.

TBF in the World Cup the Arab teams looked surprisingly capable - just saying.

With the rumours of 350k a week tax free in wages, I don't blame him...........

Just seen that Tennai Watson is available as a free agent. Apparently been playing really well at MK, RWB, may be worth a closer look.
Genuinely can't remember anything about his time with us but cursory glance at Google does suggest he's been playing well in a poor MK Dons side. As a squad player maybe ? Would assume we have our sights set higher though
