McNulty doesnt leave we dont get Chaplin, we dont get Chaplin we dont get Godden, we dont get Godden we dont get to the Championship
I don't believe it is as clear cut as that but it does show how many decisions that Robins has made have paid off and now we're signing £2 million strikers who won't start.

And we only managed to get McNulty and Chaplin because of Michael Doyle. It's been that domino effect ever since and some of it of course lucky, but I still maintain that as important as Robins has been to our success, that foresight to bring Doyle back was a master stroke. He was instrumental to our success. The experience, strength, discipline, leadership, and the young lads that he set the standard for was pivotal.

Got the hattrick so 6 from 3. Not a bad start.

Did exactly the same with the Fadz signing. Right player for the moment in time . Gave him a chance at the tail end of his career to finally achieve and also set the benchmark for those around him

Guess which board this is from??

If OHare is knackered , sub him
O'Hare clearly isn't someone to start every game.
Get Sakyi on for OHare on the left. Need someone to stretch it there
O’Hare appears to have show pony tendencies and is a passenger when we are up against it.

Looks like the honeymoon is well and truly over. hahahahha

We could have told them all that if they'd have asked rather than taking the piss out of us

Dabo still without a side then, what a fall he's experienced :(

You'd think a few of that lot would find themselves a place in L1 or 2 over the next few weeks.
I’ve thought it was injuries which did for him. He was great for us in our league 1 winning season and initially looked like he’d do well for us in the championship.
It’s a shame.

Not sure if it was discussed in other threads, but O'Hare had some really negative comments on social media after his performance on Saturday.

A few of them will probably need to rethink their salary expectations and might only get very short contracts

Why did he even drop to L2 straight away? Surely could have signed for someone in L1 quite easily.

I think some of our fans massively underestimate his fall from grace. He was playing badly for us for almost of the entirety of the last two years (even when he was fit) and living off that first season really. At FGR in League 2 he was singled out as being one of the poorest players in a dreadful relegation season for them. It's horrible to see, and hopefully he can rebuild his career and find a club, but it's not gone without notice to the footballing world that he's struggled for years.

I wouldn’t surprised to see him having to retire within the next couple of years. It’s a great shame, he could easily have been a decent Championship player.

He was one of our better players in the first season at this level

I don't think so myself, but even so, it was four years ago regardless. A lot can change in that time. Like I said, the last two seasons he was with us and the season at FGR, he has been a noticeable weak link consistently. It was going downhill a long time before that penalty miss.

It was. I think we’re all agreeing he got worse. I’d agree with FP, and say he was one of our best players when we came up and in that first season.
I wouldn’t be surprised if his career is over.

Yeah, well let's be honest every injury made him worse and he had a lot of them. He showed the odd glimpse of his old self but it was obvious something had gone wrong for him.

I also personally felt at the time like I was most confident in him among our players in stepping up to the gap from League 1 to Championship, and whilst, as you mentioned his first season was okay to good, it never really felt like he hit the heights I thought he should have so felt a little disappointing (more my fault than his).
