Only from Feb, he still played in the prem last season. But even going from Blackburn, it just seems a bit weird he’d skip league 1 altogether and go to a mid table league 2 side. It’s not like his game was ever based on pace either so I’d’ve thought he’d still be able to sit in the middle for someone better than Chesterfield.

I think he's been itching to get out of Blackburn for a while, in part due to the owners. Club he had a very successful playing career at & closer to home which is also a big driver for him. Seems a done deal.
