It's just a fucking yawnathon

Red bull are so far ahead they wont be caught

Rules reset of 2026, they will dominate until then

That's the worrying thing. It's a long way to the next rules. And even then, there's no guarantee it won't just be someone else who turns up having found something nobody else has.

I was one of those that used to get up at the crack of dawn to watch the season openers in Australia in previous years etc. Now I just watch the 7/8 minutes highlights on YouTube. 😴

I’ve just watched Teds Notebook the last couple. Although I did watch this race and actually enjoyed it overall.

The best thing about it was 83 year old Jackie Stewart (horrible man by the way) walking into a VIP section and shoving some security heavies out the way then forcing a clearly bemused Roger Federer to an interview with Sky

one of the rudest, most arrogant men I've met.

same. It's the bulk of the Mercedes years again - anyone can drive the 2nd car and finish 2nd in the Championship with the odd race win along the way. Alonso one of the few bright spots. Carries on like this and 6 of the 10 teams won't even break 100 pts in a 23 race season - 4 likely won't break 50 pts. Again and again reg changes aren't improving anything but Ferrari & Mercedes have no excuse for being this poor with the resources they have

I've never been a big fan of F1, prefer motogp or the superbikes, and had the misfortune of listening to some of Sunday's race on 5live as I was driving home. The commentary was appalling and incredibly makes an event at the forefront of car technology sound dull. Surely even though it doesn't sound very competitive the commentary and summarising should be better.

Imola circuit being evacuated, the river that runs just behind the wall in the first part of the lap is very close to flooding the circuit, whole region is under a red weather alert.

They're telling personnel not to go to the track unless otherwise told now, looking pretty bleak. There's a lot of people who live around the track as well, so hope they can all stay safe.

They need to cancel it. When theres lives at risk in the local area you cant be hosting a race

Then again they carried on in Saudi after a missile strike so 🤷

It's the FIA, after all. Where safety concerns and common sense always seem to play second fiddle to the money.

Missed the last 2 races and just checked the finishing results thinking 'bet Verstappen won'

Imagine my shock when i just looked.

At least he didn't win it by 20 odd seconds. That's progress...I guess. In reality, it was mostly DRS trains and drivers managing tyres and brakes.

I was watching the MotoGP earlier on, as I often do. You had the top two of the championship fighting it out, with virtually nothing between them, for the last few laps. That was a proper race, really good racing. Their sprint races have been pretty good as well this year.

Great quali

They're all finally catching red bull lets hope they get there soon!

Can see Perez being booted for Danny Ric soon

Only problem with that is they've been so far ahead, they're probably already looking at next year's car, and will have the same advantage again.

I really don't see Perez lasting the season. At this rate, I'm not sure he'll survive the summer break. If Danny Ric is offered that seat, I can't see him saying no to it. I think he's already stated he would go to Alpha Tauri if it gave him a path back to a Red Bull seat.

Interesting to see what teams have learnt from the images of the underside of Perez's car from Monaco pics. The floor one of the main reasons for Red Bull advantage so that'll be analysed to the nth degree. Of course Newey will come up with something new next season to leave them ahead.
