Is it just me, or has F1 got a serious problem with overtaking again? This would be one track yoy wouldn't expect it to be that difficult, and yet it was a lot of DRS trains again.

And that's before we even get to the concern about next year's regulations.

I agree, 2022 and 23 was very good with minimal dirty air. It seems to now be prominent once again

On the race though, wasn't the greatest was it?

Leclerc driver of the day for me, stellar job in that tractor

I seriously think Lewis should start thinking of calling it a day.....

If I were Lewis, I'd hold on for this season, see how the less ground effect orientated cars are next year, might be that they're closer to how he likes to drive the cars. But I think he needs to accept he'll never be back to the level he was in 2017-20, nobody can operate at that level forever and he's not getting any younger.

Problem with the dirty air is everyone thought going for ground effect was a kind of silver bullet to the dirty air issue. But the problem is F1 engineers pride themselves on finding ways of recovering that kind of defect, and it was inevitable once they caught on to all the tricks it'd be an issue again.

I'm glad that was a 6pm race not a 6am one. Fine to run around doing errands than lie down and eat too much chocolate in front of but I'd be fuming if I'd woken up early for it
