BTChelsea was defo ITV. Didn't BBC show Cov v Wimbledon on a Friday night when Elvis was in charge?
Wild guess without looking this up. Was it the year that Leeds won the league and we played at Elland Road on a bank holiday or something similar?
No moron. I did not respond to your stupid point.
I was wrong - that game was also on ITV. Final year of Division 1.

The game is now 2PM on Sunday 2nd December.
good time of the day, doesn't ruin peoples weekends, doesn't mean kids will be up late, roads will be quiet
not many reasons left why people cant make this one and support the team ?
Train strike.

You’re correct. Absolutely dire game.
Was a really weird day. Watching them all celebrate going up while we were heading for L1. As you say their fans were class.Yep but the Saints fans were class to us afterwards. Couldn't move for fans wanting to shake hands, praise our support and reminisce about the escapes of the late '90s.

That was a very good Southampton side. Fonte, Schneiderlin, Cork, Lallana, Puncheon, Sharp and Lambert.
The best I’ve seen though was the Reading side of 05/06 who blitzed the division

They were good. Up there with West Brom’s side in 07-08.
