It seems different this year. Last year was definitely dependant on when you joined but this year it specifically mentions random allocation

Ah fair enough! I didn't know that, thanks.

So it doesn't make a difference if you log on an hour before or minute before.

I guess that's fairer, doesn't penalise people who can't sit there with a browser open for an hour

To be honest, it kind of goes against the spirit of queuing…

It was a queue system to buy for season ticket holders - i had a 25 minute wait

What’s the expected level of chaos for tomorrow morning?!

I’m in the US - so having to get up at 2am to login. Am I likely to be in a queue for hours? Is ticketmaster going to cope?

Is it easy to buy tickets for networked accounts (just need two & we’ve both got plenty of points)

TSx
I went onto the site 15 minutes prior to the tickets being on sale and was about 3,500 in the queue (didn’t have to wait too long). I would try at least 30 minutes before.

Plus the club have already stated that there are sufficient tickets for all with 50 points plus. Don't start winding me up about tickets, I've been pretty calm about up until now!
Where have they said that there will be enough for everyone with 50+ points?

They insinuated it in a reply to a tweet last week, but the kind of message that wouldn't stand up to a guarantee in the courts. If there isn't then there will be a lot of angry people in the 200-300 bracket.

Yeah they must be pretty confident there's enough tickets to go straight from ST holders to 50 points because as you allude to someone on say 300 or 500 points shouldn't miss out to someone on 50.

I would imagine it would be 50 or more.

I guess people on 50 points today will find out but you're probably right!

I'd guess 50+ means, 50 or more... otherwise they may as well just say you need at least 60 or more points or 51 or more.

People’s circumstances differ and it’s never as black and white as people make out. We have 3 season tickets but 5 of us go to games on a regular basis. Unfortunately we’ve been buying the additional tickets on the 3 main accounts and have had to scramble to get 2 peripheral accounts to 50pts so that all 5 of us can go

Was this the waiting room for ST holder? i've just been on the page to see if the queuing has started and its showing as "THIS EVENT IS NOT YET AVAILABLE TO YOU" - presumably as its still marked for ST holders.

I guess the queue will start at 10 when the ST time expires.

Well, let's do a comparison ...I'm sure you know that on 8th April, there is a solar eclipse with states of emergency declared in many US states, NASA is apparently firing rockets up at it and the Cern large hadron collider is also firing up for the first time for two years on that date to try to discover dark matter... Many conspiracy theories around it all.....
Today is likely to be worse!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Anyone with 50+ points not needing their allocation this morning?

My brother & his wife were season ticket holders for years before moving to the Isle of Wight. They have been to plenty of games since but (stupidly) I always purchased them on my account...

Go through a couple of extra verifications then still end up at the not yet available page.

I am also after two tickets for sky blue friends who travel to games but don’t purchase through their accounts. Willing to pay double for anyone’s efforts if they have any opportunity to purchase and can’t make it themselves.
