Would we have stayed in the Championship if SISU hadn't taken us over? Or done even better? Or crashed out of the EFL?
Who knows. We are where we are and if the club had been well managed we wouldn't have heard of SISU.

Would have got relegated the years they took over, given that we survived that season on GD.

We weren’t doing great but then Coleman did his best to get us relegated. I’ve always wondered how different it could have been had we gone for Pearson rather than the expert ‘Uncle Ray’s’ first choice, Chris Coleman.

You’re right, but had we got a 10pt deduction it’s pretty safe to say we would’ve got relegated.

Personally, I’m of the opinion we were destined for L1 at one point, which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing given the success of Norwich, Sheff U, Leicester, Southampton, Bournemouth and so on...

I’m happy for people to blame SISU for relegation from L1 to L2, but not so much Championship to L1.

Yeah fair enough and I agree with you, I’ve often though that going down then rather than Leicester would have been much better for us in the long-term.

We were relegated from the Prem when Richardson was in charge and were in £60m of debt.
We also sold off Highfield Rd and thought it was a good idea to agree with a £113m stadium and £1.3m annual rent with fuck all return before SISU.

Fact.

Fair enough Wince - didn't mean to annoy. Just thought that the O/P was a bit like the first line of a novel......'A bitter frost lay on the ground, an eerie silence hung over the village...' type of thing. Wasn't sure what was meant to follow.

How on earth can this be a fact when you don't type FACT in capitals?

Damn! Does that mean I can’t blame SISU for relegation from the Premiership?

Or the sale of Ferguson and Wallace - it’s a disgrace

Yeah we were, we also very nearly got relegated before they did. They played a part in that relegation definitely by making a succession of bad appointments
Quote the right person you pisshead....
