Dont worry LBB I have plenty of energy and she is a happy lady Plus she has learnt to switch off and not hear when i go off on one about CCFC
You could teach my Raul a thing or two about stamina OSB-these Latinos really can't hack it.
They'll get the rent down to about 300,000....

It certainly isnt simple Paxman thats for sure
I would like to know exactly which income streams they are looking for.......... just the football related ones or are we saying the exhibition halls, the hotel, the casino etc. You see all of those are quite independent of the football club. Most clubs will not have those facilities and it could be argued that CCFC have no right to them in that sense. Most clubs do not have it and "survive" Not only that all those outlets are locked into a 10 year multi - million pound service supply deal with Compass. The club have not invested in those income sources, it isnt as if they had them and had to give them up now want them back. ACL would have to break that supply contract - Compass would be entitled to compensation. it gets more complicated the more you look at it
Giving away income streams or discounting them has serious effects on the value of charitable and public money investments. Ok yes so would bankruptcy of the club - if alternatives were not found. But right now what is CCFC worth to ACL? they are not generating anything and not paying the rent
So we are talking about the pitch area and perhaps some catering outlets?. So they could get the odd concert there on the pitch maybe get match day and pitch event parking. But it isn't 100% profit and isn't going to wipe away the losses. It isnt going to provide much for players
From your last paragraph post 59 it seems i am not alone at looking for cloak and daggers
It seems there is an assumption for some posters that ACL Council and Charity are unwilling to meet and talk and try to assist - I do not see why this is so when you consider their track record over the years. Yes as tims suggests there is a lot of jockeying for position but is there a willingness on the part of the owners to approach talks in a manner where they are prepared to listen, provide proof, to offer, to show a commitment and a plan ...... or is it simply about the money and to minimise the capital loss.
In a costings report from the council there is a mission statement for the project that talks of developing the fabric of the area, developing and involving the community, the social aspects, the employment and regeneration aspects. Can anyone see the owners truly buying into that and what is best for the city ? the council etc know how important CCFC is to the city of Coventry, I would suggest far better than SISU, but it is this importance to the city that SISU are relying on to try to rescue their clients money. Lets be clear hedge funds are driven by one thing and one thing only - MONEY
Yes all parties need to talk talk and talk again I totally agree but at some point there has to be a decision. That decision might be take your loss SISU ...... the city of Coventry will rebuild its team from a clean slate with lots of support from the council, the charity, other bodies and businesses and importantly the fans. Closing the doors on the current CCFC might not be ideal but it might turn out to be the best long term option for the club and city. The council ACL and Charity are not here to make money for SISU - thats just business as you say

Maybe OSB is Geoffrey Robinson.....:thinking about:

How do yoyu know there is'nt two way Communication,Fisher already knows the games up for Sisu, reels off Platitudes of how Gary's a fan but without means,When this is all over its possible we'll find he's closer to Gh than Sisu. That proves what an utter wanker he is....talk about ensuring you stay on the right side of people.
The Hoff bid looks doomed and Elliott is ass-licking these mugs. :jerkit:

Hey, Torchy, you miserable cry baby...you reading this? It's called banter.
Twat!
Says the man who used to run to Fred the mod at every opportunity
Oldskyblue is right sisu are trying to bluff the concil and ACL into a corner of it will all be your fault. Or another word could be used blackmail.
Yet it was sisu who had the wisom and foresight to agree the rent deal. Also sisus wisdom to sell / let go our best players and wonder why we were relegated.
Lets be clear hedge funds are driven by one thing and one thing only - MONEY

I think you may be on to something. The 58 at the end of the moniker would be to symbolise just how many houses he's got.
