He says he feels we bottomed out with relegation last year and back on the up.

A lot more positive attitudes this year compared to last

The first thing he did when he came in was get Tommy Widdrington and his team, a group of scouts and an analyst. Paul Travis is the performance analysis who setup the database with the interns.

Hasn't quite got the amount of people, but it is all setup to expand with success.

Some manager come in and have their own DB and staff, he believes in working for the club so when they leave they leave a legacy / db etc. It's there for the club. The club get a breakdown of who they are watching and why.

It's the club database, for CCFC and not for him individually.

Robins has no intention of moving on. Everything is happening to get everything successful, wants to get results.

He doesn't care about history, it's about what he does now. He is pleased with the support.

He says Steve Evans tried to stoke up the anti sisu feeling so it would give Mansfield an advantage.

Interesting.

George Thomas was worried he wouldnt get a contract (I assume under TM / MV), he wasnt playing before Slade. When Robins came in he offered him a contract straight away as he was playing well.

Told Thomas to stay and develop, he can either develop here or go straight into a first team.

There was a massive improvement in Robins time here.

Robins doesnt know if any chance of him on loan, Leicester was adament he would stay with their U23. He wouldnt rule it out.

He would like Doyle to stick around after he finishes playing, he is still hot headed with a streak but its good. Still trains properly, wants to play every game. He knows his body and puts everything into training.

Younger places do / will take notice of the way he looks after himself.

Infrastructure changed as we got relegated

Dave Boddy does a great job, Tynan and his assistant to do commercial side.

Structure is in place, so it's easy to grow and the only thing that can change things to grow is more money coming into the club / success on the pitch.

Building can only be done when revenue allows it.

Robins has high demands, when he first came in he banned phones because everybody was on their phone not talking.

He has walked in an caught a couple of people and fined them a weeks wages, they have a chance to earn it back by working hard.

He wants that culture around the club.

With the youngers, its not so much their skill and talent its about off the ball games as well which is what they need to work on / learn.

Like the way he said we never approached Doyle he came into my office and told me we are going to sign him:)

Against Lincoln we were taking the wrong option, if we can play to the strikers feet then can finish it. Strikers having an extra touch.

Final decision making, McNulty is a top finisher and is a good example. He is probably suited to the leagues above.

We are lucky to have McNulty.

He wants to score the perfect goal, he puts himself under a massive amount of pressure as well as him and other strikers.

Its individual decision making, we haven't been massively outplayed by anybody.

We don't want to keep smashing the ball forward, if it goes forward it needs to be with a purpose.

We are desperate for promotion, the players are good enough and desperate for it. They believe in themselves.

At some point we will give somebody a good hiding, he thought he would be Luton. We got 2 goals at the death though.

if that's the case, someone will come in for him in Jan with a bid, I wont hold my breath

it does seem that McNulty is MR's "Paul Telfer"

Devon Kelly Evans bombed out, Robins says "thats your words that he was bombed out".

Fan would rather DKE than Vincente as DKE would break his back.

Robins agrees performances good, sometimes young players need to come out the team and it was DKe's time. Some players come in and hit the ground running.

Vincente would put his hands up and say he is not performing as well as he could, but he is also a good player.
