No it's not it's mine rememberI agree with the OP. It is entirely my fault
You always get the odd fool who has a go at individual players but on the whole the atmosphere for the team is very positive. Take yesterday for example. It was a desperate game with almost nothing to get excited about. The standard of football was appalling, the entertainment value zero. Now the atmosphere was quiet but still positive. The only time I heard any booing was at the final whistle. Understandable after that performance and the season we have had. Even at the end some people stayed to clap the players off. I never went into Sivfields but the start of that season saw winning football and lots of goals. From what I heard, reaction from fans in the second half of the season when things went wrong wasn't so good. Positive atmosphere all year on the hill!A little bit excessive from the OP but I've said before and I do believe that we are part of the problem. So many fans turn up and sit, teeth bared, raring to vent their spleen at the earliest opportunity. This doesn't help. Even last season when we were on a great run. We are clearly not responsible for the mess we're in but we don't help ourselves. The two times we've had any run of success in recent seasons was Northampton where there was a small section of support and no negative atmosphere, and the start of last season when moving everyone together (combined with an early goal against Wigan) caused a positive effect on the atmosphere.

Nar must be City fans in disguise.Listen to 6-0-6 any Saturday night and you will hear the world is full of moaniing football fans, most it seems to me with very little to moan about in comparison to say CCFC of Blackpool. Every time Arsenal lose or even don't win the Wenger out campaigners appear. How I would love our club to have Arsenal's level of failure. Two FA cup wins in the last three years 16 consecutive top four finishes, beautiful flowing football every week. Still some of their fans moan.
Never turn your back on a freshly slapped wife.:emoji_knife:This post so shit i hit my wife and she stabbed me back ffs
Not sure i deserved that
Yeah, and then they'll go and stick it under some car park for future generationsYou should hear he Leicester fans at the moment first they wanted Ranieri to be Knighted now they want his head.
So are they any different to us?
Nar must be City fans in disguise.
I have worked with fans of most teams over the years as must have most the people on here.
So have they never moaned about their team?

We are in no way responsible for our downfall. We sit through that dross every week and people expect and people expect us to be clapping and applauding every time we concede a late goal? The "we're shit, and we're sick off it" chant sums it upA little bit excessive from the OP but I've said before and I do believe that we are part of the problem. Well, let me tell you what I see. I see pride! I see power! I see a bad-ass mother who don't take no crap off of nobody!
Sorry, wrong forum
This much of your post is true.I actually agree with the guy to an extent. fernandopartridge probably sums it up in a more articulate manner than I can manage.
This situation would not have been allowed to happen in Italy.
Totally correct that it is not really aimed at posters on here. But CCFC fans as a 'group', will do anything, say anything (city til I die, etc), for the Sky Blues. Anything that is, apart from actively get behind the team.
What an absolute shambles that petition was, so much made of it, and less people signed it than would turn up to a JPT semi final should we get there. Shows how much the people of the city who shout SISU out at every opportunity, really care.
I'll emphasise again, that my thoughts, and I'm sure the thoughts of the original poster, are not really aimed at people on here. The majority on here are people who seem to have followed the city through everything. They are perfectly entitled to whichever views they hold, and if they want to boycott, NOPM, SISU out, Sixfielders, hillers, etc, fair play to them. Just wish so many people wouldn't try to stamp their view on everybody else.

Not a relevant comparison. The Liverpool fans were there at the match to rip into their team.fickle fans?? did you see how the Liverpool fans ripped into their team yesterday after losing to Swansea, but it was entertaining footy, not the shit our managment put out.
the op needs to get a life in the real world, our owners are determined to strangle the life out of OUR club for some reason, the bunch of cunts
And the local authority in Italy wouldn't also have looked to capitalise on a football club's vulnerability setting it a ridiculous rent. This much of your post is true.
The Ultras would have stormed the board room/prawn sandwich enclosure and saw that those responsible were swinging Mussolini style from the nearest stadium gantry.
I remember my old man saying to me "son, in life you will end up with the woman you deserve" it's true you do.
So it got me thinking maybe this is true for football fans, maybe you end up with the team you deserve. For as long as I can remember there has always been an overwhelming feeling of negativity and moaning from a fair few city fans I know. It's like they just love to moan at someone or something.
Yes the club has been run poorly but it doesn't excuse the fact that as fans we have never really got together and tried to drag a squad of players through the crap and stick by them. Barely any ex players have come forward and said yes the fans were great etc etc etc, the reason for this is we never really have the players backs. We're happy to jump on a bandwagon when there's a sniff of Wembley or a decent cup run but when the going gets tough we get a going.
In my opinion I'm not sure we're gonna have a club for much longer until the fans start showing we actually want a club. Just turning up on a Saturday and saying at least I'm here isn't enough anymore, real passion needs to be shown by everyone in the stadium singing shouting or screaming whatever it is.
The club is dying as I don't think our fans really care, the match, it's just something to do on a Saturday isn't it?
I don't think we can blame anyone except ourselves as we have allowed this to happen due to apathy and not really giving a fuck.
Surely now we're down now to fight or flight, what's it gonna be?

Were you there at all the relegation scrapes we pulled the team through, not a very well thought out post. Oh and you're Dad was wrong aswell you don't end up with the woman you deserve, you end up with the woman you can afford.I remember my old man saying to me "son, in life you will end up with the woman you deserve" it's true you do.

Do you genuinely think the council aimed to put the club out of business? And the local authority in Italy wouldn't also have looked to capitalise on a football club's vulnerability setting it a ridiculous rent.

Don't forget that season ticket holders are counted even if they are not there..We have unbelievable fans: still 8,000 there yesterday despite being bottom of 3rd tier. Most current l1 clubs can only dream of such loyalty and support. Away we take significantly more than most. Our fans have put up with years of underachievement and since relegation from premiership have not had a cup run or league finish to get excited about (apart from a jpt...yes a jpt semi). It's testimony to our fans that we are approaching almost certain relegation with gallows humour and resigned determination.
It's the owners not the fans who should look on the mirror....they would see spineless asset strippers that have let down a football club, its history, its fans and have taken away its future.

And yet with that statement you're holding us up against Liverpool fans and in doing so comparing. Not a relevant comparison. The Liverpool fans were there at the match to rip into their team.
