SBK You must learn to quote someone with their quote or your argument falls flat. Unfortunately Fisher is not quoted saying these things is he? Now the Telegraph reports Coventry City say bl bl bla. That's a whole lot different and can be entirely subjective. Most likely is what the jouno reads into the situation from his overall conversation and then basically misrepresents CCFC in the process. he needs his story to appeal to his audience. FACTS are what really matters. It brings me to the same conclusion when remembering all the arguments about it being fact that CCFC were offered a rent free deal at the Ricoh. Trouble was that was also not the FACT. Same kind of thing really. What some posters (like you in this instance) want to do is take something as fact when it is not and then try and insist it is because you so want it to suit your own opinion. We are not in the room my friend and if you take the word of a newspaper article then you may as well read fiction because that is what most of media is made up of. I do get your original point you were trying to make but it's just not fact.
Do you mean I've made a Grenduffyism?

SISU have threatened litigation on SBT, Michael, and a few others. Surely the Telegraph would leave themselves open to the said litigation threats by publishing the said statement?.....Unless, of course the said statement was true.

So because they haven't been sued it must be true? They were trying to sell papers and catch people's attention.

It's amusing that your "estimated fact" quote has become folklore in your own mind as I never even said it. Bit like "you dirty rat" its folklore and somewhat amusing as one fact is true - you never watched Coventry vs. Bury last season on a live streaming. A blatant lie - now that's a fact.

If you spent most of the season saying that you wouldn't go to Sixfields as it is your way of demonstrating and then started to go would it be an estimated guess or a blatant lie?

The only "You dirty rat" on this forum is you, You lying piece of cr*p. Even your best mates on here will call you a liar, about your "Estimated Facts" Cast your mind back to when I said Ben Turner was "Reported as being sold to Cardiff for 750k and I took it as the selling figure like most people did. YOU lambasted me for saying it, then in the very same breath quoted another figure as a FACT. When I asked where you got your figures from, YOU said some website(Torchy knows it) that their "Estimations on transfers" were "Pretty close" but because you say the figure is a FACT we all have to believe you. You're a WUM pal. now toddle off down to the hostelry for a swift libation with your chums, there's a good chap!

Glad you brought that subject up. I remember being criticised for going to Sixfields despite saying I wouldn't. Yet there are many on here who have done a 360 on Sisu and are lauded for changing their mind.

Go figure. Perfect example of SBT double standards, I suppose.

So the Telegraph are responsible for saying that Coventry will never play in Coventry again then?.......Forget the bit that says...Coventry City say Coventry City will never play in Coventry again..... So those last 11 words were never said then?.............hill83...kiss my arse mate;)

So you spent most of the season saying that the reason you were not going was that it was your way of protesting did you?

Thought not.

I have an open mind about the bits of the emails that they produced in court. I still know that they have constantly bullshitted us. Want to know the full facts. And BTW a 360 is a full circle. So inyour quote it would mean that you know what they have done to our club, then thought that someone else could be to blame but then went full circle and think the blame is on them again.

Once again your memory fails you. The actual argument centred on Keran Westwood. You claimed someone had told you the fee we paid was £250,000 and I pointed to the fact that the media generally suggested it was £750,000 as did the website. Strangely I think that you laughed at the fact the figure was quoted in the telegraph as being evidence. In this context that in itself would be amusing - I need to find that thread.

"Sisu said it would no longer fund the club if a stadium deal could not be agreed.

Laura Deering, from Sisu, claimed in the High Court that the organisation only continued to fund the club in 2012 because it believed a stadium deal was likely but had been told in 2011 that there were significant obstacles. "

Taken from a recent CT article I read.

Straight from the horse's mouth.

Why are there still people who think SISU are in it for the club?

A lot of people never thought they were ever in it for the club. Actually to believe that you'd have to be a real gullible fool.

Oh, er sorry Ginetta.

I would say that the gullible fools are those that have seen all the evidence and still try and blame nearly everything on anyone but SISU. Even the judge saw through some of what Deering said. And he didn't have the benefit of watching it happen over recent years. He knew it didn't make sense.

And this is why I say that we need to wait for the JR. Is there anything else that can come out?

I think a lot more will come out at the JR about the council and SISU

It will all finally be out in the open, then we can make a proper judgment on who is at fault

I just keep thinking that if the deal had gone through, we'd own 50% of the Ricoh lease. Had AEG managing the Ricoh and we wouldn't of lost 20 points over 2 seasons

Give it a rest. The telegraph wrote that bit, the quote marks were inside these things " ".

The telegraph wrote that first bit........

The bits Fisher was quoted were the bits in quotation marks, I know it is a sensitive subject so I won't go into too much detail.

I put Fisher's quotes in bold for you in an earlier post. Which part of QUOTES don't you understand?

Still funny though when you go off at others for talking shit and claiming things as fact...do you prefer Pampers or Huggies?

Re the debate between you and skyblue kid and quotes. Don't think either of you should get excited. Nick you say quotes start with " and end with ". I agree.

Except the article you keep quoting I read 5 passages that start " and end with a . (But you have highlighted them as a quote?)
I read 1 passage that starts " and ends in a"
But it is a newspaper and what often ends up between " and " isn't always accurate.
Who gives a toss what Fisher has said it is what happens that counts.

All the stuff spouted on here....do you think it's going to be used in the JR....which witnesses are going to be called from here, they have all these experts to choose from?

It was obvious that talking about politics and finance instead of football was horrendous, but we can now cite proof that there's something even worse than that, talking endlessly about each other. I can't wait to see what new depths are plunged here!

I think you be horrified to know the mainstream views outside this little forum are more reflective of the standpoints taken by torch and others myself.

I have answered. The fall down point he misses is question 3. Clive eakin the last time I looked is not a director of sisu. So the answer to 3 is no as the club will never accept it. They will never pick up the phone and will never negotiate a rent agreement within a company that they no longer will work with on a daily basis.

So as a strategy this whole campaign is flawed. It assumes unless sisu make a move the other sides are not challenged and are not having action against them. Its not us who have nothing serious to add its the kcic campaign that is not serious.

Your statement at the top is wrong as before the move to northampton, my little survey had told me that not many fans were going to northampton and i was right. Their is a little bit more anti-council, but their is a harding of hate towards SISU from a lot of fans. Also a lot have given up and are not even listening to games, so your statement is wrong, you are in the minority.
