Interesting stats but as stated around the turn of the year I maintain we’ll finish on about 66 points - or + a couple!

I think it’s been a decent season. We all wanted promotion again. But given that we scraped into the league 2 play offs, staying in the top half all season for me is pretty successful.

Pending the external issues, I’m hopeful and confident of a progressive season next year.

Few issues, feel like we definitely need a goalkeeper, and we need someone to compliment Chaplin. He’s got to be the man next season

No chance of relegation now even at 1 pt per remaining game we would end up with 59pts.

It only remains to try and improve form and with luck maybe sneak into the play offs, but it seems relatively unlikely.

We play both 6th and 7th yet. Win those and it’s a two point gap to close in 9/10 games.

We just need one more win than them and win our head to heads.

Looks like 2014/15 maybe the most likely comparison as bottom 4 will get could get more than a point a game big scrap going on there.

8 games remaining. If we get 5 wins that will be 71 points and a chance of the playoffs. Could do the same with 4 wins and 3 draws. A big ask. Over the season so far we have averaged 1.5 points per game. If we continue that then we will get 68 points, which is unlikely to get is in the playoffs. I note that Donnie are a game in hand, but then their next game is Luton, so if they lose that I think we are still in with a shout.

the issue we have is that the teams we are playing in the 'big' away games we have are in very good form, with Barnsley and the Adam Johnson fan club been just below us in the form table.
