No, if was £5m for Higgs and the rest for the loan IIRC. They thought they could get he loan for about £7m. Like I said happy to be proven wrong if you have a link. I honestly can't remember the ccc 50% ever being an option/discussed.

The actual negotiations were about a share of ACL. Do you read anything apart from headlines?
Only when negotiations broke down did JS come out and say the freehold was what she wanted.

And this was also corrected often enough afterwards as being an oversimplification, and that they'd be happy with a long lease.
