Don't really care who we play when, but ideally no home game on New Years Day and if we're definitely away on the first day let's end the season at home.

Just hope fixtures fall well as got family commitments for four Saturday's in August and September. Potentially could miss first four home games....two daughters getting married, mothers 80th and one other.

I really do struggle to understand the obsession some have with MK Dons away. Yes they are only a short train ride away, but they have no history, absolutely no rivalry with us, they are a franchise club, and the ground (albeit nice) is in the middle of nowhere....

To a lesser extent I feel the same about Northampton. Close but no real rivalry, a pretty sterile ground, although admittedly not too far from town and the station.

Oxford as well. Ground is on the edge of town and a nightmare to get to.

Sorry to cast doom and gloom all over this thread, I'll log back off now...!

Mk Dons away, easy to get to and having 7,000 Sky Blues Fans all singing together might have something to do with the Obsession, ill be going again. PUSB. ;)

If traffic on the M5 is anything like it was last Friday, I won't be looking forward to the Bristol fixture! Long ass journey! 4 hours to drive what's normally 2!

Agree with Nick re Fleetwoood. Although I'll be giving the trams a miss this year. Last yr v Fleetwood a tram broke down on way home from a few drinks so walked back to B&B. Good hour or so walk. Nice! Then for the Blackpool fixture a tram on the line suspended the tran service as one of the tour ones motor burnt out causing a small fire! Since then I've been called a jinx!

Looking forward to Bolton; new ground for me.

Summery doesn't generally exist up there.

I'd quite like Bristol Rovers away.
Have had a great last few weeks for the weather. Blackpool may be over an hour away from where I live. But I can see it. Was on the beach just before 6 this morning. Was already very warm. Has been a very good summer so far.

Last year was a different matter with the constant flooding though......

Yes I know it's been better than usual this year, I'm not that far away from Blackpool myself

I don't mind that. One of our worst away trips last season though. Pissing down with rain and throwing away a two-goal lead. Lad enjoyed singing "We've Got A Roof" though.

Hopefully better this time.

Northampton away falls nicely on my birthday weekend! A 3 mile trip to Sixfields! Sounds like a cracking day out already!

NB: I am way to old to still be celebrating birthdays :arghh:
