on the back of afc wimbledon protest last night,why cant we pacl the west stand at sixfieds for one (home) game and protest before game and half time then do a sit in at the end of the game? i know people dont want to pay sisu any money but for one game treat it as a away game and pack the end behing goal as not many sit there anyway,just a idea as i think it would get some press and need extra police so that would cost sisu money too

It's irrelevant if it is a Premier League game in London. Why don't certain people get it. Coventry is our home City not Northampton.

Why don't all the super fans go behind the goal and be united for one game?

If we had no stadium to play at in Coventry then fair enough...There are people on here who would defend the bankers just to get a response !!

We're not all boycotting Northampton because we don't want to give SISU money, some of us are boycotting because we are protesting at our club being moved 34 miles away. Simple. as. that.

I would say the majority of us have given money to SISU up until this season with our ST money, and I've given more money to them this season from away ticket revenue than people who have attended Sixfields for 1 home game this season.

I think this is seriously worth thinking about. NOPM should be a 'tactic not a rule' and if the benefits of a different tactic outweigh the negatives of dropping NOPM for one game we should do it imo. The big question for me is would those who normally go support it. We need to have a solid majority to make it effective.

The problem with this is you'll get the spineless lot bleating on about how we shouldn't protest during games and we should get behind the lads etc.

It's a non starter. At this stage of the season people have made their decision and 90%+ will never set foot in Sixfields.
If the 1000 paying Sixfielders want to protest rather than just winge at anyone else doing anything, over to them....

I cannot go into Sixfields.
I would be too embarrassed to be seen endorsing Sisu hostile takeover of the Ricoh by using my beloved Coventry City Football Club.

I am not going to pay money to go into Sixfields as it supports the move.

Or alternatively, for one game, why can't we just have no-one go at all?

Whichever way you look at it people who make the effort to go tonight are pretty die hard fans of the club.

I don't think that would be a good idea, given that it's now probably our biggest game of the season, and the lads need some albeit depleted support.

Thing is Stupot, I'm sure we'd all love to be there supporting the team and urging them on to victory. Not in a distant town some 34 miles away though. Here, in Coventry.

For me this could be a play-off with a win sending us to the Championship. I would still steadfastedly refuse to go.

If we are principled enough to say we won't go to Sixfields then it shouldn't matter whether or not it is a meaningless game or the most important game of the season. If we say we won't attend, we won't attend and that is the way it should be in my opinion.

Would it be possible to do something at a Northampton match?

Av attendance is around 3000-4000 from what I can see, 2000 city fans singing "in our coventry homes" for 90 mins

Maybe their game against portsmouth could share some relevance?

Die hard fans they may be but I am convinced that they are wrong to think that they are supporting the club by attending Sixfields. I think they are harming the club by supporting the owners harmful plans to use the club as a bargaining tool. A total boycott which I grant would be all but impossible to achieve would make Seppala think again about the tactics she is using.

I would never go there, but i don't think, "the invisible woman", gives a shit if it's full or empty. She dos'nt give a shit about any of the football side of things.

Yes I do. However a couple of strikes a year doesn't get them anywhere. All PS workers have pay and pension issues.
