I think there has to be a middle ground, especially away. Look at tonight, trying to have you centre haves channel their inner Van Djk against a very good Forest side was a calamity.
Though if we can find a way to turn possession and good football into goals we can carry on as we are and accept the odd abberation at the back but I'm not hopeful we'll do that.

It's improving what we have though. What's missing is obvious, but it's not that much really. Of course fixing it isn't necessarily easy, especially with no money, but Hamster's improved every season, Bidwell will be more settled, Sheaf could be expected to step up more next season... that's plenty of scope for improvement as we get the experience at this level.

our form is 33 points I think from 28 games - we’ve won 4 at home since those first 12 games. We’ve won what 1 in 8? If this isn’t a slump and we hadn’t had those 12 games and you honestly think we’d be now not staring down the barrel then good for you

We also have to factor in we've had the u10s on the bench for a month or 2 and haven't even hot a fut back line
16th, pretty much bang on mid table which is what he's arguing against (I think, difficult to keep track).

I think minus 21 points is a slight hindrance. Our form is on the slide - still I’m sure we will beat stoke and then get told we are progressing from last season

I think there's a difference in sides that look void of ideas , that look poor and are not playing well ..to a side that just lacks a bit of quality but plays good football and is actively improving year on year ... in football there are such fine margins that we could just as easily be 4th right now had we taken our chances In matches .. but that's what we are as a club right now .. nearly men .. but its been good to watch for most of it
