I think he is injured isn't he but nothing ever surprises me. They would say he is injured up until he leads them out as Captain and gets a hat trick!

I knew he had a operation on his knee, but many birmingham fans said the news there end was that it was a bit of a publicity stunt and he should be back for that game?

Was announced a couple of weeks ago he had a knee injury that might need surgery. They have got rid of so many players after relegation that it could be a very even game.

If I was King I'd make sure I played against us - guaranteed to score.

And I love how King (if he plays of course) is going to get stick off the same people who backed him so rabidly. No doubt the ''she said no'' song will be sung by our cretins.

I backed him but I will still give him abuse after lying to us...

Given the choice of a relegation battle or promotion shot (before Yeung went down) AND more money I know what I'd choose - and I'm a City fan. And it was a stupid move by the club to announce he had agreed when it seems he hadn't - the club lied to us not King.

but he himself admitted he said he would sign..........so yes he is a liar, yes i backed him and yes i will give him shit. As a lot of players that come to the Ricoh will get, he doesn't play for us.

Thorn anounced on the club's website he was told he would sign. King never said to any media he would sign....... I couldn't give a fuck either way. Our downturn in form started when he was introduced into the team and I don't want our club to be assosiated with a sex offender, just find it funny the people so willing to support/back him will be first in line to mock him with what we had to put up with last season.

King, who scored 12 goals in 28 appearances for Coventry, maintained he had acted properly throughout. "I haven't done anything wrong. Yes I did phone the manager because I was happy with the three-year deal and I was willing to sign. I said let's do it, I want to sign. I said get the contract over to me but that didn't materialise.
"I called my adviser, Tony Finnigan, and asked what was going on and he said nothing had come through on the computer in writing."

So the club did not lie to us.

EDIT: Also Cov fans will not give him abuse for his convictions, they will give him abuse for the way he left us so...I don't find that as funny as you do tbh.

So the club didn't provide him with a contract to sign?!?! How's that his fault???

Edit: And I'd put money on one of the songs directed at him being ''she said no Marlon, she said no'' - obviously for the way he left us....

Small minority of idiots will sing that, probably the ones who sang "she said yes"

Also with the King saga it was one story against another, the club claim they had an agreement the contract would be signed when he returned from holiday, King said they never got the contract to him whilst he was on holiday.

My point was he did contact Thorn to say he was staying so the verbal agreement was not a lie by the club. Who was at fault after that nobody knows.

A publicity stunt? Does houghton think he's Mourinho or Fergie trying to psych us out before a 'big' match that could decide the title?
