We will just have to agree to differ then. Beavon is one if my favourite players and definitely one we should keep to my mind.

He is not a prolific goalscorer, he says so himself. He is a goal provider and great at holding the ball up in order for his fellow players to get forward and join the attack. He has a good touch about him too.

I really rate him, so we will just have to disagree.

The provider talk on works if others score we don't have that in the side so we are carrying him

Because fans see good on players that run around Andy Morrell for us was the same for us. I don't want to criticise Burton as they have done well on meagre resources but every time I have seen them I thought they were poor

Just looked up burtons stats for them promotion seasons and in league two and league one they relied upon the goals of there attacking midfielders and wide players like Akins, El khayati, McGurk, Mcdonald, Duffy... with central defenders chipping in too

Morrell should have been played in a central position where he could hound the opposition central defenders & nick a few goals, instead he was played on the wing and expected to hold and carry the ball, something he was relatively poor at doing.
