Wake up and smell the coffee, big man.
As much as we are on the same side I wouldn't want to wake up,and smell the coffee with you. I wouldn't see a future past breakfast!

Sisu have killed the club so now the vultures are picking the bones.

RIP CCFC

Made me chuckle. Vultures are circling because we are playing well. Would happen regardless. For once the owners have so far showed they won't sell on the cheap by rejecting bids.

Judging by what I witnessed on Sunday & SP's body language, it's possible he might have played his last game for the club, who knows?

how can you tell with your head well and truly stuck up fishers arse, sorry people i had to get it off my chest, lol.

back on topic, steve he is shit and them 10 goals were all own goals ;-)

hes a quality player and just frustrating very much a player like huckerby

We are just very vulnerable at the moment and other clubs will try and get them on the cheap.
Previously as we know Sisu have let crucial players go for less than they are worth.

Whats all this I thought we should all be supporting Steven and the boys.
Fuck me one mistake a transfer request and you are all on their backs...

No wonder we are fucked.

we have a squad of 18 not 28 so can't drop any more players without playing even more youth players Oh yer we can always blame them then...

I am fond of the Mouss but he doesn't perform consistently. Its either game changing or nothing...Needs to work on that.

I must admit I'm surprised at the comments about Moussa. Yes he can be inconsistent but aren't ALL of our players, hence the level we and they are playing at?

The lads got 11 goals from midfield for us this season and some of them have been some of the classiest goals I've seen us score in years, maybe even over a decade.

He's a luxury, but he's our luxury and arguably our most creative and exciting player. I'd take 80 minutes of anonymity for that 1 bit of magic.

I also think the whole "inconsistency" and "goes missing" thing is just something people have picked up on and run with. Dare I say, a lazy cliche or bandwagon to spout? He always seems involved to me most of the time. Maybe people expect him to skin players and score delicious lobs every game? If he was doing that, he would be playing at a higher level.

It annoys me how some of fans seem reluctant to give out praise at times.

He does a lot of good things, but he's more like Clarke (very effective for 20% not so for 80%) than he is like say Thomas (pretty good for 100%).

When I've seen him this season I don't feel he's pulled his weight. Pressley obviously agreed last game as well. What he does is pop up with enough goals to make him worth keeping.

The OP was asking about him at Prem level though, and as much as I might like Moose, he's a million miles away from Premier League because of his limited impact in large parts of the game. Also his skill is too hit and miss, he's just as likely to run into a dead end as he is to beat 3 men and score. At this level that's great, as you say it's a league of inconsistent players, but higher up he'd be found out IMO.

It's nothing nasty, just an honest appraisal. To be honest, I'd worry about most of our squad in the Championship let alone the Prem.

well said.

its almost like a defence mechanism, "if we never rate him we wont mind when he goes"

also because he got a telling of from SP does not mean hes on his way out.

I think it's a result of him playing on the left wing tbh that at times he goes missing in the game

Hi Guys and ladies,

Everton fan here in peace, been told that we have been scouting the above mentioned player recently and will have people watching him at Preston on Saturday. What are peoples view of him?? can he make the grade in the premiership??

I hope to see you lot back in the premiership soon, hopefully at the expense of Villa.

Cheers

Steve

We trust that your scouts left the game early, thoroughly disappointed with his performance. Please advise them not to use the internet TV etc.

Best regards...
