Understandably soThat's it
And Doug isn't averse to it
But how does that then leave what's in place? Carr doesn't deserve to be kicked does he?
Would he fit in amongst Cole and Morris for example?
Would Dempster be back with youth or gotten rid of?
That's the hold ups evidently
AshleyWhich Cole is it? Carlton or Joe?
Probably not to distract from tomorrow’s game.Do think it is a case of when and not if
Football Insider come in for a lot of stick and rightly so but for their top journo to come out and say pen has been put to paper on the deal and it is all done, when there is a chance it isn't is a hell of a ballsy move and would massively dash their credibility if it turned out not to happen
Dunno why the club aren't just announcing it tho, even if they did it today to announce to takeover for Cardiff
Nat KingWhich Cole is it? Carlton or Joe?
Yeah, my money's on one minute to midnight on Christmas EveBloke from Sky sports saying it was all agreed at the weekend, I’d put it down to deciding when to announce it
Not a surprise and such stuff takes time and indeed money to sort , a number of settlements will need to be made before salaries agreed with the new staff. It appears we are in safe hands short term whilst it gets resolved , so resolve it properly and in the time it takes rather than rush and make mistakesThat's it

Assuming that he would get the boot if Lampards staff come inIt's a pretty midfield heavy coaching team isn't it? We've already got one in Boateng
Lati can coverWonder if we have a back up lined up tho if it just can’t be agreed
Nat King
I still think it will be done, and this will be ironed out, as i say it seems to be just Ascertaining who's going to stay and who can be reassigned / let go off the current setup and what that cost will be
Rhys Carr made it clear to Doug that he didn't want to be considered for the role btw but would like to stay at the club
Dan .Andy
I thought the Hamer pay business was all ITK hearsay and Hamer was always movingIs this like when doug wouldn't pay for O' Hare and Hamer and now its lampardnot arsed but the bloke has previous

Big cost thinking on it. If we keep Rhys you’ve got Frank Lampard, Jodi Morris,Ashley Cole, Rhys Carr.I still think it will be done, and this will be ironed out, as i say it seems to be just Ascertaining who's going to stay and who can be reassigned / let go off the current setup and what that cost will be

If hypothetically the issues aren't ironed out and talks break down, is there anyone in consideration as back up. Or would it be back to the drawing board?
Hopefully the GK coach can be binned off as well.Carr and Boateng stay, Dempster and Delaney go back to youth team and Lampard brings two new coaching staff with him.
Doesn't seem like rocket science
A little dodgy maybe but he's alright
Yeah, he wasn't good enough but is now too good to let go?I love how after 2 decent draws Carr has gone from “useless twat with the iPad” to “actually he’s not too bad we should keep him”
From King’s past comments it seems he isn’t keen on a ‘flat’ coaching structure so assume there will be some kind of hierarchy. Is Morris the Assistant Manager and Cole as one of the coaches?
Are you meditating?
Wouldn't pay him the wagesI thought the Hamer pay business was all ITK hearsay and Hamer was always moving

Yes I'm pretty sure he said that's what he asked Robins to implement, and Robins had to go because he didn't do it. So if there was supposed to be someone between Robins and the other coaches, it's only natural that the same would apply under the new boss. Maybe it's just a question of numbers - King wants Lampard to bring in one, but Franks wants to bring in two? From King’s past comments it seems he isn’t keen on a ‘flat’ coaching structure so assume there will be some kind of hierarchy.
